24/10/2024 08:36 | I agree but it also gives me confidence that the market could absorb that 2% plus bearing in mind we where at 10p odd ... Also because of the nature of its investment structure it's not a sale due to Scancell just the way it is .. when we hit 3.5p it was a fund going bust ... So I take it as a positive and that the share priced was suppressed from its 19.5p high add in the Oct 30TH budget nervs, North Korea which is not fully understood by the west considering how icy the north south has become and with the South now in full support of Ukraine adds another dimension. We still have the strike to come on Iran are they waiting for Trump as Biden cant remember his job description | inanaco
24/10/2024 08:33 | The estate holding has now had an open mention. Etiquette keeps information subdued on the identity. Sells there started in August (about 2m I believe) likely continued in Sept. Very wealthy people so it’s not a sell at any cost situation with holdings in other companies of considerable value, some cashed in same period. | chilltime
24/10/2024 08:24 | Hopefully Calculus have sold more since 28th August and no longer have enough to suppress the spike that we hope the SCIB1 data brings. | miavoce
24/10/2024 08:01 | Well they can only sell them once, at least we got some more cheap shares ! | inanaco
24/10/2024 07:40 | Good point MT. A good example this morning of underlying relatively silent posters, knowing exactly what is going on, but pointless sharing it along the way lost in a sea of playground name calling. As a reminder this is an investment site forum. Who bought, what, when, in the past, profit, loss whatever. In the city your last trade doesn’t matter, it’s the next trade. The supply stifled the spike, lack of the spikes has kept the vast majority of the small cap nut job retail away. They will arrive at some point when Scancell reports data and catches media attention. Thankfully at a time when Scancell is well down the line, already talking to big names (here and now). | chilltime
24/10/2024 07:23 | The annual report stated that at August 31st Calculus owned 30,831,722 shares- a fraction above the 3% threshold. | chillpill
24/10/2024 07:13 | Almost certainly some sort of story re the reporting timing, most likely connected to the AGM voting - which would have highlighted an omission. The company would have known from the register, but can't announce until formally advised. | markingtime
24/10/2024 07:04 | Chill pill post rec as I think your point about budget chimes very much with my thoughts and think you are on the money. We also know Calculus have a history of selling.Agree with Bermuda and others about sloppy nature of reporting | ivyspivey
24/10/2024 06:49 | Calculus run EIS/VCT portfolios for hundreds of individuals and in the run up to the dreaded budget will have seen some people sell their portfolios down. IMO they are progressive sellers over time rather than trying to exit all at once- they had 37m shares in Aug 2023. | chillpill
24/10/2024 06:37 | It’s one of a few things investors should watch for rather than petty arguments. Then comments about shares passing from one to another wouldn’t be so combative. It was clear large numbers were being passed from a holder/s to new buyers, but records about it take time to catch up. There will come a point, where the supply dries up, perhaps perfectly timed for data. So the share price then won’t follow old patterns, in theory there will be sharp moves. | chilltime
24/10/2024 06:32 | Yes ChillP I believe the relevant person had multi million shares. I note sales in their other much larger value holding too. Going by the timing tax unknowns again. | chilltime
24/10/2024 06:29 | Inan You are free to moan about labour again as it’s their tax plan smoke screen that causes some to sell off certain parts on tax points. Either way it’s good to see stale holdings reduce rather than have them loitering at the likely much higher pending share price. | chilltime
24/10/2024 06:26 | FWIW I don’t think Calculus have been the biggest seller around. From the share register I am aware of an Estate of a leading businessman who died in 2021 that is being wound up. I have a feeling that is largely complete. | chillpill
24/10/2024 06:18 | Mystery supply back in August revealed. Calculus suspected back then but ‘records’ So it seems buyers had been getting them from Calculus. | chilltime
24/10/2024 06:04 | Morning Calculus below 3% | ivyspivey
23/10/2024 20:38 | MT ... there is a difference you have not bought hardly any since ... and i did not buy in one go ! anyway .... you have your 800,000 all good ! ATB be happy ... but don't expect a BB to sell Scancell to big pharma ! ain't going to happen | inanaco
23/10/2024 20:14 | FFS......Two boxes of frogs..... | markingtime
23/10/2024 20:12 | All the proof I need is in my bank account, inane. Thats because I didn't own a share until mid 2020......and hadn't wasted the previous decade here watching the share price go down and totally wasting my time. Unlike you. | markingtime
23/10/2024 19:06 | "big numbers again Marcus"Not sure if you noticed but that's NOT Scancell. The Scancell deal, from memory, is with GenMab - $5m upfront, potential $624m. | gazza
23/10/2024 17:37 | big numbers again Marcus | inanaco
23/10/2024 17:05 | Modifi $30 million upfront $1.3 billion will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck | marcusl2
23/10/2024 15:36 | If you need crowd control for access ... you will need some Taylor Swift Tickets SC102 | inanaco |
