Progress in treatment for glioblastoma is hindered by the blood-brain barrier (BBB)

Immunotherapy presents an attractive therapeutic modality due to its tumour specificity and the ability of activated immune cells to cross the blood brain barrier

Anyone know anything or heard anything about the use of ivermectin for cancer treatments? "Dr. William Makis Using Ivermectin To Heal Cancer, Including COVID-Vaccine-Induced Turbo Cancer".

Wow.

So Immunobody can work on cold solid tumours!

GBM is generally regarded as an immunologically-cold tumor in which the local immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) is believed to exert resistance to T-cell infiltration

These data suggest that the effect of PD-1 blockade on survival was modest; whereas, the addition of SCIB1 ImmunoBody® vaccination to PD-1 blockade resulted in a significantly improved time-to-death gap of mice harboring intracranial tumors. This correlated with a significantly higher number of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells within the tumor micro-environment in the combined therapy compared to both sham and sham + anti-PD-1 treatment groups (Fig. 7).

(may work even better in humans)
due to the HLA-restriction of the mice used here, it is entirely possible that the full T cell helper repertoire which could be generated via other MHC class-II gp100 derived peptides was not generated compared to what can be achieved with the same vaccine administered in humans [11].

Cancer Vaccines

The links below are to part 1 and part 2 of an article in which 5 experts give their views on cancer vaccines. May be of interest to longs here - especially part 2. This quote is from Ultimovac's CMO:-

' I believe that therapeutic cancer vaccines are poised to become an established standard of care in several different tumor types, most likely when combined with checkpoint inhibitors. There is opportunity for several different modalities, such as RND, DNA, and peptide vaccines, as well as strategies ranging from personalized vaccines to more generalized vaccination approaches. Moving forward, the issues of cost and access in terms of affordability and patient accessibility will be increasingly important. '

Data ? Lol
All data released has been good...and the company has no funding issues.
The share price has crashed !
The only data important to the share price is the point traders decide that the 'low' is in.
That's it....

Not my cup of tea. Far from the clinic and their tech is not that innovative. Perhaps a passable trading vehicle but I'm not interested in that.

Data is expected to be "complete" in 2026 you buffoons. It probably won't even be fully recruited by end of 2024. It's just a matter of when the company decides to communicate whatever data they do have.

Apparently someone who calls themselves Chelsea thinks the stock price is down because someone panicked over funding ...lol.
I wonder if that also explains the massive drops over the last 18 months with all the other good news releases...lol
There is clueless...then there is clueless....then of course there is inane !

It's you who should wake up.

Excellent news and a vote of confidence in our science and board.

Will Scancell remain independent at the end of 2024?

Nope what happens with PI's is that they reinforce their biases with isolated cases of stocks moving with news 'as they expected'.
Then when a move happens to the contrary, they blame others for 'not understanding the meaning of the news'...lol.
In actual fact, studies of thousands of RNS's have shown that even if a PI had the news 'in advance of release', they still wouldn't have more than a 50/50 chance of getting the share price direction right.
ie, No advantage whatsoever.
Conclusion:
Something else is driving prices.
All about intellectual honesty.
You have it...or you don't.

Sci102,
There is a method out there that completely takes account of sentiment. Stock prices are ALL about sentiment.
Ignoring it will lead you to be completely WRONG about stock prices at EVERY turn...just like inane and co.
Prices are NOT a reaction to news. If only it was that simple !

Seems like a good deal for the lenders. More time to see if Scancell are successful while maintaining a low option conversion price.

It's funny how you cheerlead on nonsense and at the first reminder that you are actually clueless, you go into panic mode. It don't generally make pps predictions cause I have yet to learn a method that properly takes into account sentiment, context and objective value. But just for fun, I'm calling that today it is going to close blue or flat at minimum. In any case, overall this was a positive(ish) RNS and retailers act stupid as usual.
