08/5/2023 19:23 | What a wonderfully uplifting article. Nothing we didn't already know about but very nice to see the human side of this. | nigelpm
08/5/2023 18:53 | Evening and good to enjoy the footy chat. One of school friends played a couple of games for them way way back abd always said they were a lovely club. | ivyspivey
08/5/2023 16:05 | Hi Tosh. Yes I used to see Frankie Prince around Plainmoor and he did a great job and was a special Player too - Bristol Rovers? Johnson should go. Are you available to take over ? ATB | torquayfan
08/5/2023 15:59 | TU, Torquay have been abysmal for a few seasons now, they are in real danger of continuing their fall. There are a lot of good semi pro clubs around the south west who would all give them a run for their money, and with Argyle making massive strides, I fear for the Seagulls ability to attract players of any stature. Funnily enough I bumped into Frankie Prince last Summer ( I used to play with him ) and he was fearful of Torquay's ability to stay in the league. Frankie used to run the Torquay Utd " Community " section. He took up the role when he retired from playing. As for our resident clown, I stand by my comments. The guy is a menace. | tosh123
08/5/2023 15:42 | Flying tonight . . . but I'll stick by that. ATB | torquayfan
08/5/2023 13:49 | Another ADC deal. BB-1701 is currently in Phase I/II studies BlissBio will receive an option exercise payment and be eligible for development and commercial milestone payments up to an aggregate of $2 billion, as well as royalties on sales. | marcusl2
08/5/2023 12:15 | Ruck - there is a small chance that someone reading here doesn't consider learning about the company and the science, and perhaps listening to relevant presentations, before investing. Much larger chance that the motive for this whole pointless discussion is simply to aggravate another poster. ATB | wigwammer
08/5/2023 12:09 | Wiggy, The points are correct and may well be useful to some. They apply in general and are not specific to any individuals. | gazza
08/5/2023 12:02 | Fair points ruck. But I'm pretty sure the vast majority of posters here base their decisions on the scientific evidence, listening to senior staff presentations, and may also find the odd comment on advfn or lse interesting. So really - there are no lessons to be grasped from this discussion by anyone reading here. And the only reason it has taken place is to have a thinly disguised dig at a poster that one or two don't like very much. | wigwammer
08/5/2023 01:02 | Lozan - I thought you would enjoy Marking Time's post 4050 about Inan on PoG - "If there is anybody on this board "following" any other poster, they need their heads examining. Follow the science." Whatever the frustrations of dealing with Inan, there is no doubt Inan's presence IS helpful to us of less scientific leanings. So well said MT ! And Tosh - really ! (BTW it's a double relegation season for me TUFC AND Nakhon Ratchasima, the Swatcats in the Thai Premier. Johnson for the Torbay guillotine - does Loz have a spare ?) | torquayfan
08/5/2023 00:55 | I want to note again Marking Time's post 4050, a vote of confidence in Inanaco's contributions here : "If there is anybody on this board "following" any other poster, they need their heads examining. Follow the science." Whatever the frustrations of dealing with Inan, there is no doubt Inan's presence IS helpful to us of less scientific leanings. Well said MT ! | torquayfan
07/5/2023 17:24 | Very encouraging article. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Fingers crossed for Trish as she gets her next scan soon. | plasybryn
07/5/2023 16:04 | As I recall, wasn't there supposed to be a "next steps" discussion and a possible PET scan or similar? Might it be that the apparent tumour remaining is actually composed of dead cells? And wasn't the ultimate expectation surgical removal?Analysis of excised tumours could be very important info? | markingtime
07/5/2023 12:13 | I think Trish was due her next vaccine and scan early this month. Fingers crossed for her. | marcusl2
07/5/2023 11:52 | We all wish the good lady a full recovery. How this new is different from what was already published? | golcheja
07/5/2023 10:12 | Hi TF, It is fantastic news for the trial patient and first and foremost our best wishes should be for her and her family and whatever the catalyst for the story and often it may be simply the local paper has picked it up due to friends/ relatives talking about it rather than it being pushed by anyone. She does seem happy to share this story with a more public audience so that is a shift in her previously expressed wishes so that is big difference. However what I am not sure about is what new specific info from a Scientific point of view we have learned about the trial progress. However it is clearly a very positive story and her own words describing its success are heartwarming and the words of CO are very encouraging too. I am sceptical of any SCLP involvement apart from maybe fact checking but equally CO could have provided that as I am nit sure there us anything materially new that we were nit already aware of but it us now truly public knowledge | ivyspivey
07/5/2023 09:45 | Hi Ivy. For me simple - it's happened and it's good to see. It might be a leak and Scancell can't shut it down, so Scancell have 'gone along' with it. I doubt it indicates that Scancell are opening up but now I guess there will likely be an official update asap. I always thought that if ModiFY works it would be difficult to keep it quiet, particularly as more enter the trial. News on Tuesday LOL ? | torquayfan
07/5/2023 09:32 | Morning TF. Yes a very good find and as you know I was not fully happy about the McM messages being shared so widely on other Social media but the Echo article does indicate a move towards wanting to share the story more widely. | ivyspivey
07/5/2023 09:27 | Posted by WTP over there ! | torquayfan
07/5/2023 09:14 | Morning small row, Correct I was very confident about chance of success as were many other commentators including the likes of Invesco/ Standard Life/Aviva and Sandgrove/ BoD etc and paid the price for being wrong. However it is illustrative of never taking what anyone says including me as being gospel and only the individual can decide who to listen or pay attention to. I never advised anyone to follow my lead but yes I was confident and accepted the risk/ reward and as individuals we Al majesty our own decisions. As something like 75-80% of AIM PIs lose money the odds are stacked against anyone so everyone needs to be cautious and learn the lessons. I learned a lot about AIM due to my experience in MTFB and if my experience can help others then that is for others to decide but if you prefer to listen to some in here who claim All in No risk and never acknowledge their mistakes then that is their choice. But good luck with that as I know which approach is more likely to deliver results. Choice is quite simple do you choose to listen to an unqualified self appointed guru who has only experience of one AIM share where they are totally overexposed and is underwater after over 10 years of claiming All In No Risk and has 100% claimed that their opinion on every subject is always right or do you put more store on opinions that acknowledge there is risk but also great potential. Pay your money and take your choice. | ivyspivey |
