Strangely enough, my wife was my girlfriend then. We'd been on a long walk that day, had a good meal and plenty to drink and then went to our room. Tried to get to sleep but couldn't because of the noise the couple in the next room were making.

Meanwhile the buying continues.

The good old Ship Inn...took one of my girl friends (now my wife) there 35 years ago and never forgotten the rusty bed springs!! Seem to remember the landlord/lady...Derek and Linda? Happy Days indeed. Back up for Christmas for many pints in the Golden Rule. May even try to squeeze in the annual Pudding Run this year. Apologies for being OT.

Long time ago IB otherwise I would have done. If we weren't camping we used to stay at the Ship Inn in Coniston. They served a good meal there.

Thanks IB for the link to 'This is Money'.

How did you know about the tea leaves. I saw a clear picture of a bumpy ride (nice smooth bumps) until Oct/Nov then a steep climb. But just like the long walks my Wife and I did in the Lake District, as we reached what seemed like the summit there in front of us was another steep rise and so on ad infinitum or so we felt.

Amazing what one can see in a burst Yorkshire tea bag!

https://twitter.com/rodneyhooper13/status/1437697984343560195?s=21$1250 was an outlier last time, but even if a fraction of this embeds into contract prices, the old scoping study numbers will be ribbons on the upcoming DFS.RH comments are interesting.

Hadn't realised that your question was directed at me.KEvB is still active by the looks of it in many areas. I believe he remains a SAV holder though can operate behind the Invisibility Cloak under 3%.It's been a long gestation period during turgid times in the Li market, only coming to life over the past 9-12 months, when there has been plenty of other things to look at and enjoy returns. Can't speak for him but he seemed to develop an affinity for Infinity (ooops? maybe). He still tweets on SAV every now and again and once it starts to show a bit more life, may well grab more of his attention again. That's my read, right or wrong.

Have you been reading the tea leaves again Ged? Last time such comments gave us a big boost based on not very much other than hot air and hope. This time....

Thought there were some big reported delayed trades about 1.39 yesterday. Unfortunately it looks like just one purchase of 750K. The others being cancelled.

Looks like there were plenty of buys after the morning sell-off. Folks taking positions before potential developments?

Hi Gary, I've been sadly buying more relatively recently and have about 1.5M, likely going to buy a few more in the next couple of weeks. As much as I am sounding negative, buying under the recent 4p placing seems to be a good risk reward and the days are ticking down so the decision should come soon enough. There have been many EU and Portugese presentations that suggest the mine will get the go ahead so hopefully that will be the catalyst that gets the share price going. A few EU or EIT grants could also help with funding, Europe with its push to lower CO2 needs these projects and I hope they find a way to help the mining and refining companies, news could suddenly be transormational. Mining license, DFS, Galp refinery, Off take agreement.

So as painful as the slow drop in the share price is I hold and hope DA can pull the rabbit out the hat.

Mid October is key date, when APA due to deliver their position. Positive, and sc2000uk 's comments will stand re-reading.Negative, and suddenly, our residual holdings in Oman will look interesting.Only about 35 days before we find out (supposedly) and it wouldn't surprise me that we get a hybrid decision with a conditional agreement. Oh for a classic fudge cake solution.

Hi UKGeorge, thanks for your welcome, sounds like you do not hold any shares here at the moment, projecting the price to fall . The price could bounce and hit 3.60 and then potentially hit 5,which would make me a decent profit, but if it drops by 10% as you predict to happen soon,l will will sell, soon find out.DYOR

IMHO I think once the DIA is approved then no one knows exactly how far the share price will go and what happens next. Just think about what this means.

The EU will have it's first Hard Rock low iron Spodumene Li Mine, that is approved and ready for development. A mine that uses existing processes (those in Oz) and has a relatively small CapEx and short build time.

Regardless of who is in charge, your opinions of DA/SAV BoD and their intentions, SAV will hold this asset that will be significant to the EU if they are to have their own Li supply.

With this in mind, I just don't think a price can be put on the Asset now or in the immediate future.
