Forgot to mention of course that quite aside from the DIA, we still need to complete the DFS (hopefully a relatively quick follow on ), get the financials in place and make the final investment decision, so still some water to flow under the bridge, no doubt with some Pooh sticks.

Have to say that I am hoping that MdB is the first of a few and that the standard set here can then be replicated with further operations in some of the areas to be auctioned (and hopefully some that aren't) and also areas across the border in Spain.Should that happen there would be endless opportunities for news with drill results etc or info updates on any potential sites. Is this one of the reasons why they are/have taken on someone to manage PR and news etc. There is much to look forward to.

Thanks IB. Though it's not easy to accept at present, I do think that the slow Portugal process will be very rewarding in the end. This will be a world class mine that's part of Europe and at the top end of ESG credentials. No mine will ever be 100% impact free, but that shouldn't stop every effort being made to achieve as minimal impact as possible. Maybe in other countries/regions the process would have been quicker, but is quick always best? I just hope that SAV are ready with the shovels and it's full steam ahead once all the I's are dotted and T's crossed. And come this stage, it is something I want DA to be giving very regular updates on as it will be in his position to know the progress v plan status.

Hi. Almost, but not quite. Results from the public consultation and the Evaluation Committee's review form the basis for the Committee's "Final Technical Statement" which allows APA to prepare the contents of the Environmental Impact Declaration ("DIA") and award the Project its DIA. This completes the 'Pre-Phase' stage of the application process, which then moves to the second stage, expected to take 60 working days, and subject to receipt of approval from the APA, will result in the Project receiving its Environmental Title. The second stage is more to do with the mechanics, nuts and bolts of the project rather than whether it should go ahead. Whilst the provisions may say that a project can proceed if there is no reply within 100 days, in reality politics and expediency would no doubt rule that. If we are to operate within and as part of a community it can't be imposed on a default. They may be sourcing longer lead time items and doing all the prep work in readiness but it's the next stage that details the mine layout etc so I doubt they will start building out.My take, but not Gospel.

Back in April many thought DA had done well and his efforts in getting to the APA stage congratulated. I understand that DFS is waiting for DIA to reach it's conclusion (or by default if I'm correct above) as it could have implications on this. That said I do agree that more should be done at present to actually give the impression that SAV do want to bring MdB into production. So I agree let's see more from DA and SAV BOD on saying we're just a few months away from real activity at MdB. On Off-take, I'm less bothered by this now given how much price is rising and there seems no let up in this. Plus EU will want Europe sourced Li, so even if there is more Li available from Chile/Australia, etc. MdB will be a unique product that could command a premium price.

SC2000uk, you are likely right no news for a few months. But this is just an indication as to how out of his depth DA is. Look at how other lithium explorers have been getting on with developing their projects. Below is an example from Zimbabwe hXXps://www.prospectresources.com.au/sites/default/files/asx-announcements/61046625.pdf Ironridge has got a fantastic deal, Vulcan has off take agreements, and regular news. Most juniors have been doing well. Why can't the DFS be completed? it is baffling, the prospect resources pdf, is a sign of a company that is actually considering options and taking this seriously. SAV seems to be run by Basil Fawlty. It is hilarious that they give away assets to concentrate on Lithium. Where we literally have one announcemnet a year. Can't wait for the next DA presentation.

ib, do you mean that if no reply from APA by Mid-Oct the DIA has been issued 'By default'. Allowing SAV to start progressing with MdB development, building required infrastructure, ordering equipment, starting employmennt, etc. At this stage the DIA is still desired as it protects against future issues/challenges but doesn't halt SAV progress. Is this correct?

By October, Fairview will have been on the Mutamda case for a year so at the vey minimum a progress report must be imminent. DA said in his last presentation that the strategy was to become a pure lithium operator so I wouldn't be surprised if they just offload it. Let's hope any deal is a bit more lucrative than Oman.

Am usually wrong but thought that mid October (16th +/-) was the timetabled date by which time APA is obliged to reply. Thereafter the process moves into the implementation process stage for a further period, but the DIA is the desired piece of paper as that will flick the switch on.

I expect no news from SAV and MdB progress will be available for a few months still. The Spanish consultation period runs until Mid sept (see link below) the Spain Govt has to the consolidate and give Port Govt it's response. Port Govt then take this into account as well as the APA Consultation that run until mid July. With all this maybe a DIA decision November? hxxps://www.miteco.gob.es/fr/calidad-y-evaluacion-ambiental/temas/evaluacion-ambiental/IP%20MINA%20DO%20BARROSO.aspx Until then only news SAV can give is on MOZ, which I do want and hope is coming soon. As for long term MdB, I think SAV should just be digging Li out ground and selling on open auction market (wasn't SC6 recently sold for $1,250 on open market). I see it being a sellers market for many years, so why tie up with a off-take agreement that restricts price.

That says it all. From LSERE: updateMon 09:22I can understand the lack of social media presence because of the heightened sensitivity around EIA approval and environmentalists will no doubt be all over anything SAV post. What I find really disappointing is the 'bi-weekly' investor emails if you subscribe to the web email link. I've had 2 in 3 months. Why set yourself up to fail? It's very poor from the BoD.
