Ged,

Sorting out the rear end processing Mina do Barroso lithium mining is profitable and help towards reducing the overall environmental foot print. What's not to like about feldspar and quartz.

Nice...

Not that I'm aware of Ged.

The quartz and feldspar only comes available from the tailings of the lithium mining, which can't happen til the lithium mine is operating, if that's what you meant. The lithium tailings go through conditioning, flotation and cleaning to get the saleable quartz and feldspar.

In the meantime can we be getting income now under the terms of 7Mt per annum Mining Licence that we have at present?

When share price Angel released their broker note on 24th July recently based on discussions with management it appeared to give clues as to what the future mine economic figures might look like.

It estimated Pre-Tax NPV8 of $716m to $969m based on 11yr or 16yr mine life (only $356m in the 2018 Scoping Study) and IRRs of 90.1% to 95.9% respectively, which would be industry leading percentages. If nothing else it indicated the direction of travel.

The met testing results are interesting and the co-product revenues very helpful. I'm waiting for the results for the quality of the lithium as it is possible to gain a higher price if you can get to 6.2% or 6.3% etc instead of 5.8% or 6% concentrate.

The concentrate also could do with a low iron content around 0.7% or 0.8% max which the share price Angel Broker Note indicates it may well be.

Personally, I'm hoping September will bring some renewed momentum!.

$44.9million per annum or £37million per annum when our market cap is £32million is hardly tourist shop territory!

Have you become over cynical? :-))

Well that’s the glass and pottery tourist shop sorted for the Mina Borrosa ‘mine experience ‘ ( read corporate social responsibility!).
Just need finance and a license to build a mine.... when’s the BFS out.. March?... 😐

Let's not forget the main event is Lithium for the battery industry. Changes are taking place. This about the Frankfurt Motor Show

"Especially notable this year is a heightened emphasis on new electric cars. As well as the Volkswagen ID 3, we'll also get a look at the Honda E, Porsche Taycan, Peugeot e-2008 and others as manufacturers hit the ground running with plans for universal electrification."

Someone desperate to get out. How many more do they have left to offload? This has been going on for some time now. Surely they must be nearing the end?

Sorry, the base case IRR was 63% in the scoping study. The upside case was 68%.
ged5

Quite right. The pre-tax IRR was only 63%. I haven't worked out what it might have gone up to.

A healthy boost to the NAV and NPV for sure. Should help the already extremely healthy IRR too.

Ed.
