28/1/2018 11:25 | Edgein, I agree with you that Oman could surprise to the upside. To what extent I suspect will not become clear until we are granted a mining licence. Meanwhile our newly appointed Director, Lithium Business Development seems to be accumulating patents for Lithium recycling. He's obviously aware of the potential Lithium shortfall in coming years. Having been with Albemarle he should be a very useful person to have in this role. A belated welcome GD. I hope you become very rich from your investment. | ged5
25/1/2018 10:33 | I am in now all be it in a small way. Just the start for me though. I will add when I have more funds available. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
25/1/2018 09:58 | Ged, Its much more exciting than that now though given the recent moves in gold, zinc and silver prices too! "Exploration Target of between 10,700,000t and 29,250,000t grading at between 1.4%/t and 2.4%/t copper with additional gold credits. Aarja – drill results: 9m at 4.86% copper, 1.54% zinc, 1.3g/t gold and 37.3g/t silver, including 6m at 7.01% copper, 2.20% zinc, 1.9g/t gold and 53.8g/t silver from 103m, from the Dog’s Bone area" Definitely some exciting potential from Oman for sure, if they can get that producing from mid year as anticipated it'll fund further expo in both Oman and Portugal. This is set to be a very good year for SAV, if they somehow fast-track development in Portugal through JV it could be a very very good year indeed. Mining licence in place would help attract partners/financing. Regards, Ed. | edgein
25/1/2018 09:20 | Oman also features in this RNS. Before my time in SAV but here is the announcement referred to:- | ged5
25/1/2018 08:33 | "Mr. Steinbild's role is a newly created, non-board appointment. Mr Steinbild will provide strategic, commercial and technological insights of the lithium value chain to Savannah as it develops its Mina do Barroso Lithium project." This company means business in the Lithium world. Options at almost 8p well priced. Grandao update soon. | ged5
25/1/2018 08:03 | Absolutely Bronco, DA on the ball, 'hoping to be first significant lithium producer in Europe' which would put them ahead of EMH in spite of starting out a lot later. Martin's input at this point very timely. Shaping up nicely I'd say. | paleje
25/1/2018 08:00 | Read the RNS. Looks good. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
25/1/2018 07:58 | Wow, things are moving ahead a pace now for our large Portuguese assets, I thought a development decision was to be made later this year. It would appear its already been made! They did seem very excited about the assays late last year. "David Archer, Savannah's Chief Executive Officer said "We are delighted to welcome Martin to the Company's senior management team. He brings to Savannah a wealth of experience in the lithium industry, which will be extremely valuable as we develop our Mina do Barroso Lithium Project which we believe has the potential to be the first significant lithium mine in Europe. In his role, Martin will focus on helping Savannah introduce Mina do Barroso to the international lithium industry, as we look to commercialise our project." First significant lithium mine in Europe, sounds like these guys are positioning themselves at the front of the queue, excellent. Can't wait to see how these assets develop throughout the year as they get these JORC's out and updated through future assays. Regards, Ed. | edgein
25/1/2018 07:16 | Seems like a decent appointment. | broncowarrior

19/1/2018 16:09 | Thanks for that link IB. Just in case anyone is put off by the URL shortcut here's the full link. hxxp://www.proactive So in today's interview DA expects Oman news in a few weeks and a resource update for Grandao in February. It looks like next month could be good! My pleasure Edgein. Hope you join us soon GD. Plenty of links in the header for you to follow over the weekend. | ged5
19/1/2018 14:04 | Ged, Thanks for link. Yeah hopefully not too long before we get the maiden resource numbers for Grandao and as our CEO pointed out numerous upgrades during this year's exploration campaign. Perhaps maybe hear something about those last couple of permits for Oman too. Regards, Ed. | edgein

19/1/2018 11:41 | Ged, hi. Certainly did and despite the reference to lithium by the interviewer it was all brought back to Moz, and Moz only. Methinks the lack of comment on anything else says things might be round the corner. Good weekend | inbrackets
19/1/2018 11:02 | Did you all see the latest video tweeted by SAV on Tuesday? hxxp://www.proactive | ged5
19/1/2018 10:49 | Good post (376) paleje. I noted that Fisker's Emotion was exhibited with a Lithium ion battery and his magnesium solid state battery was a separate exhibit. He still hasn't a patent for it yet! There seems to be an awful lot of research on solid state batteries of various types, the most interesting to me being Lithium with graphene balls. However the consensus seems to be that the Lithium ion battery will be used until at least 2025. So plenty of time for SAV to make a lot of money from Portugal. A slower start to the year than some of us expected. I note from that article IB, (thanks for posting) that Oman licence news is further delayed. Good news from Mozambique. Now let's have those Grandao results. Next week? | ged5
19/1/2018 09:33 | Looking at these closely. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
17/1/2018 17:35 | Bronco, Yeah I guess they've already got the permit for the trial mining and government officials turned up to cut the tape. Those are the large scale long-term full mining permits that we'll hear something about in the next six months or so. Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/1/2018 22:25 | Not much off a reaction today, I suppose news of applying for stuff is not a massive deal. Presumably we can run the pilot plant without these permits? | broncowarrior
16/1/2018 07:47 | Very good to see Moz moving forward towards commercial mining. The current pilot plant must be giving the desired results for the three full 25 year mining permits having now been applied for. Should hear something within the next 6 months and more from both Oman and Portugal in the mean time. Our CEO seems quite chipper about the event, I guess for a world class project with Rio Tinto he has every right to be. "David Archer, Savannah's Chief Executive Officer said "The submission of the Mining Lease applications is a key milestone and a great start to 2018. This is the final formal step in the process of securing long term Mining Leases over globally significant deposits of heavy mineral sands. This follows the commissioning of the pilot processing plant in Q4 2017 which will be used to produce concentrate as a part of the Pre-Feasibility Study which is currently underway. "We believe our timing means we are well placed to take advantage of the increasing global demand for titanium feedstocks." Regards, Ed. | edgein

14/1/2018 19:30 | Near term value is Oman and the permits are taking far too long.Copper is shaping up nicely and Mining from H2 will see this motor... | highly geared
14/1/2018 19:26 | Thanks IB, looks bullish. Just want to make sure they don't take their eye off the bell in Oman and keep chasing up those permits.Really do think the lithium could be worth 200mm plus on its own. | broncowarrior |
