At least the licences have value with a ML. The copper story was good a year ago ,less so now with the current trade wars.

Thanks inbrackets....I suspect this Summer is an ideal buying time for lithium stocks on the assumption the demand story plays out over the next few years. Typically, us investors tend to be already fully invested so not able to take advantage...ha.

Alongside SAV, I've bought some shares in AVZ Minerals recently. ASX Listed, it hopes to develop the Manono mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is the largest spodumene lithium deposit in the world at 400Mt @ 1.6% which is really high grade, but the further exploration targets go over 1bn tonnes at even higher grade. It outstrips anything on the planet including Greenbushes in AUS.

Of course, being the DRC you have to navigate political risk and also the transport is the main cost at around $223/t but the mining costs are super low around $90/t. It was a long term tin mine until the tin price fell away but it remains one of the largest tin mines in the world and will give significant tin and tantalum revenues to offset lithium costs which isn't factored in yet.

The Chinese are interested in investing. It's at the same stage as SAV.

One or two of you may be interested in a speculative play.

It's not much consolation, but this at least helps to confirm that the tide is out generally for lithium stocks not SAV in particular.https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/edison-lithium-index-week-11-ending-02082019-gets-absolutely-long/?published=t

We are continuing work on the treatment of the laboratory'sresults analysis, as well as the ongoing economic feasibility study of the project. The Environmental Impact Study remains a priority for Savannah, so this month field work was carried out by independent biologists to gather more information on terrestrial and aquatic fauna, which will give us more insight into this site.Additionally, we have been monitoring all mining work in the Barroso Mine and the resulting environmental changes, which allows us to better understand the impact caused by the activity of the mine. In this way, we also ensure that we are able to comply with the Environmental Impact Statement.

Starting to look oversold now.

This buys and sells stuff, people need to remember people will only buy at the price they want to: someone must be willing to sell at that price!Bit of a summer news lull but should be lots to look forward to September onwards.

The current short term oversupply of lithium concentrate is causing a few bits of financial stress to producing lithium miners, particularly the smaller ones. Here's a Trading Update from Alita Resources where delayed shipments due to oversupply has caused them to have to raise more money unexpectedly to avoid defaulting on their $40m loan etc.

I'm not sure we'll see this tightness in the market much in the next few years as I think demand will exceed most estimates from next year but it actually helps a bit that SAV won't be mining until around early 2021 or so.

A small tick up on the bid to take us into the weekend.

Well done on the other one. Leave the nutters to it for a couple of days.

SP Angel note released, risked valuation taking into account early stage and protracted licences, 12p Portugal 2.8p Moz, so 14.8p. Room for improvement later in the note.

Sorry, I don't have one. I suggest you call +44 20 7117 2489 and ask for his email address or go to SAV web site and send your questions via their contact page. Your question or questions should no be direct, dates are price sensitive. Ask the questions or questions a general way. I am sure you know that already.

Interesting article on Nemaska Lithium struggles in Canada, finally receiving extra $600m to cover the cost overruns of their Lithium mine construction and hydroxide plant. Heavily dilutive investment to achieve that, knocking potential share price gains.

SAV sticking to a much smaller initial Capex and being in Europe where financing 'may' come easier, could fare a lot better. Time will tell of course.
