Wouldn’t mind hearing a bit more about both other projects, appreciate the current bad news out of Moz drowns our financial considerations.

Been to Moz and visit Portugal regularly, don’t know Oman. I think were in a good position, just a bit more patience, thinking of those affected by the Moz cyclone reminds us waiting isn’t such a big deal.

OT - GED you’re in FDBK right, any idea why the plunge? Pm if you like, don’t want to disrupt the flow on here which is a good board.

Mina do Barroso is a small mine in mining industry terms so how can it be so important?Lithium from spodumene concentrates producedannually by Mina do Barroso could be used to power over 600,000 EVs. Taxes and royalties from Mina do Barroso could total more than €250millon and provide over 600 direct and indirect jobs.Production from the project could support the development of new, downstream industries such as refineries, battery and battery pack plantswhich would be a major economic boost to the Portuguese economyworth billions of Euros.

250M euros for taxes and royalties. So how much is the project worth? Not bad for a company with 2 other assets and only £46M mkt cap.

palege,

We are all getting on. My attention spans are terrible these day. though my patience is much better. It has to be, I now have to rely on others more.

You're welcome GD, attention spans and patience aren't what they used to be, myself included, reminders don't do any harm:)

Paleje,

Thanks for posting the link and timing in today's Vox Markets Podcast.

Good info for those who are not fully aware of the very probable shortfall in materials eg copper lithium, cobalt, cobalt nickel etc. for EV car production in the near future.

Indeed - the incentive plan seems well balanced ... I look forward to the key staff getting their additional renumeration when the share price gets above 10p...

Option price is set at 10p????

This is a clear indication that the share price will much further north of 10p in the future.

This is a good RNS and makes me feel that things can only improve here.

Well done.

"The exercise price of the Options being issued at this time is 10p which represents an 87% premium to the closing share price on 5 March 2019"

All options at 10p. A clear indication of what SAV is sitting on, and is achievable. Archer deserves credit for this. As do the RC.

LTIP seems fair, directors locked in for 5 years etc. Remuneration committee makes me laugh given how many staff there are.Seems fair though, other one has been ripped up.

The sooner we get 1 or 2 off takes the better or 1 big partner like Rio Tinto or BHP/B

Then we can at least see some real value in this dire share price?

Interesting take. They must be discussing with offtakers and the blue chip ones will likely have certain minimum requirements.

Brad1 on LSE had a fair point parallel with above, things changing as they go along, the idea of a background player calling some shots would make sense and I’ve seen same recently with other outfits..

From Brad1:-

IMO

Sav have changed direction with this asset, at the beginning it was all guns blazing get the DFS out as quickly as we can, first movers, prove up as we go along, Alutra etc etc.

That then switched to LOM, the all guns blazing approach get DFS out asap to me is a "oh look at us approach"

The shift now to LOM and the push back of DFS to include as much as possible to maximise the LOM with the contininung high grade low impurity of the asset looks to me as if we are ticking someone else's boxes.

For DA to change direction as he has with this asset we have a big/notable player in the mix who is telling SAV what they want/need imo

I think that some folk do not understand that with any mining development you must first work out your resource and then plan and development the project with plant and infrastructure. The plant and infrastructure will be at a different level in terms of throughput for a large deposit than for a small deposit so maybe what they are doing is the correct approach. There is economy in scale of operation and more reward.

Not sure why they need to add these deposits into the DFS and delay things, it is a bit frustrating. I suppose they want to put the question of funding beyond doubt.

Only read the headline this morning and couldn't understand why the price was down.

Thanks for the Times article, paleje. It seems a bit too sensible for this government though!

Jump in EV sales.
