17/10/2017 15:46 | Bushranger You are forgetting 2 things SAVP have over 2.2 billion barrels of oil, and China is desperate for oil, think Japan, Pearl Harbour desperate. And, unless the IIs are getting a better return than they would on drilling the Niger assets, then they will simply vote down the RTO. For what it’s worth my 0.2% is voting no, only another 49.9% to convince! Remember the golden boy AK has been had before, wunder kind, he is not. Remember the Disasta in Alaska! | honestmarty
17/10/2017 15:10 | honestmarty- I do agree with that assessment. Though the deal can still be likend to the BHS sale. SE is virtually bankrupt, worthless as a going concern because it cant pay the bills. It needs a large injection of cash which the Chinese will provide along with debt restructure. Like the BHS deal it is not do much about how much will I pay for it but what am I prepared to put in to keep it going. I agree that effectively SAVP could be used as a means to list the new entity on AIM. Ironically that will leave SAVP as a Chinese owned Nigerian oil company listed on AIM! I can see investors lining up for that one :/ I dont see the Chinese paying a huge premium to SAVP. The deal is going to cost and it may or may not prove positive to the share price when assests, risk, debt, dilution is added up. | bushranger
17/10/2017 12:04 | Bushranger I don’t think we are buying anything. The Chinese, who have the muscle to tackle Nigeria, are extending their hydrocarbon footprint in West Africa. We are effectively being bought for our Niger assets and will be used to “front” the deal. | honestmarty
17/10/2017 11:56 | The RTO by SAVP could be likend to the ill fated BHS deal a few years back. Remember it was sold for £1? Why did Mr Green sell that huge British Company for only £1? Because it was effectively bankrupt. I think AK is buying an oil producing Nigerian BHS. If the deal goes ahead and the company can be turned around then yes, many multiples of the current share price will be seen. Easier said than done, just as the new £1 owners of BHS found out. | bushranger
17/10/2017 11:16 | Getting caught up in a deal between a bankrupt Nigerian oil company and Chinese investors who promise troops to keep the investment safe? What could go wrong? SE stated that their reason for faiure was 1)Militants causing shut down of faciities and 2) Repeated failure of State and local government bodies to pay their bills. Thats why the deal is going to have to be exceptional for SAVP or AK should walk away. | bushranger
17/10/2017 10:49 | Steady now LH. This cannot be good for your blood pressure. Why don’t you ask nurse to increase your pills? | honestmarty
17/10/2017 10:45 | Other than ultimately taking us into bankruptcy as well in the future due to now being involved in what is undoubtedly one of the worst countries in the World for oil companies. There is a reason Seven Energy are almost bust..... IT'S CALLED NIGERIA ! | lithological heterogeneities
17/10/2017 10:43 | What exactly does some nobody at the helm of a tiny aim listed company expect to achieve what very, very experienced oil CEO's could not achieve after years in charge of a large company in Nigeria ? | lithological heterogeneities
17/10/2017 10:41 | I have zero confidence in anything related to Nigeria oil , especially some near bankrupt company that are nearly bankrupt.... because they are in Nigeria ! | lithological heterogeneities
17/10/2017 10:22 | Whatever the relist price is , RTO or no RTO, the price will need to be lower than value or there will be a stampede to the exit and share price will plumet and confidence lost. share price needs to be fair but with upside so new investors have confidence to buy and existing shareholders can sell or hold. | bushranger
17/10/2017 09:21 | And nothing...again. | lithological heterogeneities
17/10/2017 09:09 | The morons are out in force on Lse this morning. It’s a bit like the scene from The Life of Brian Follow the shoe No, follow the gourd They are now in the “Persecute! Very funny to watch | honestmarty
16/10/2017 23:18 | Bushman1 Not that drivel from Agadem? To paraphrase, " oh yes, all ready to go, it will be soon, and communications will be central" I assume Jimmy must be fairly junior, serving his time shielding the calls from crackpot corner. I too am desperate for meaningful news, but not "accelerated" platitudes, from JH and the office intern. Agadem blows hot and cold, I wonder does he overdo the sauce some evenings? No, nothing of value to see there I'm afraid, move along now. I thought the August drilling deadline would have brought matters to a head, but alas no, still we wait. It could mean delisting, which will leave me feeling very ill indeed, not LH ill, all twisted and shrivelled, but like needing to vomit ill. Still AK has promised us great riches, and who are we to doubt a master of the universe, all be it a tubby, baldy, ginger, kiltwearing one? Sorry Andrew, you better make it in finance, I canny see you having much of a future as a superhero doll. | honestmarty
16/10/2017 22:54 | LSE bb for update from from private investor in comms. with Celicourt this evening. | bushman1
16/10/2017 12:01 | Given how easily they raised additional monies from institutions I think the expectation must be in the region of 3-5 times. Who puts up millions into Niger drilling for a few percent? No, this was high risk high return. So I think the IIs will need at least a 100p, hence my 125p | honestmarty
16/10/2017 11:47 | honestmarty, What sort of investment return do you think SAVP being swallowed whole will give us? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
16/10/2017 11:44 | LH You are, dare I suggest, taking a most pessimistic view of matters. I thought you had borrowed to buy shares and had actually lost real money. I too am against any involvement in Nigeria, and given AK had his fingers burnt before in Alaska, I’m surprised at them even contemplating 7E. So I don’t think they really are, they haven’t the money, experience , manpower or political muscle. I believe this is a Chinese led incursion. SAVP will be swallowed whole. | honestmarty
16/10/2017 11:44 | This company will need to re-list at a massive premium to make investors happy but I would not be at all surprised to see us come back at the same price,or lower, due to substantial dilution. If there is no huge premium on re-list there will be a massive sell off on return. | lithological heterogeneities
16/10/2017 11:33 | interesting - | parisv
16/10/2017 11:33 | Because the rope kept tightening around his throat? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
16/10/2017 11:31 | Hi LH Why did the suspension cause you so much difficulty? | honestmarty
16/10/2017 11:26 | What investment ? | lithological heterogeneities
16/10/2017 11:23 | that wouldn't be very good for your investment. | parisv |
