Cant disagree with you or Dorset, and in my experience it was 3 months. I think they should only update due to their use of the word accelerated - they should have left it out.

a multinational walking through our office door saying we want to buy you they took fifteen months doing DD b4 we received their signed cheque.

The DD here didn't begin on suspension, it started way before, hence their stated expectation to conclude on an accelerated basis. They're now verging on going beyond an accelerated conclusion and that's why they should provide an update.

It’s not about whether they do or don’t, it’s about whether they can.

The answer is, yes of course they can. There is no legal reason why a company can’t update its owners on anything that is not part of a confidentiality agreement, and that will always leave them plenty of scope to give a general overview of the position the owners company is in.

The very least that one would expect is communication from the CEO, given he has removed an owners ability to sell his part ownership. The restriction of trade deserves at least the courtesy of a “Sorry I’ve taken away your ability to sell your asset, and I know it’s taking far far longer than I indicated, and yes, I guess I shouldn’t have used the word accelerated, because many RTOs have taken less time, and they weren’t described as being conducted in an accelerated time frame” RNS

Do companies usually update shareholders along the way on RTO's? I can't much on WRN, AMRYT, LIFE, SEN to UOG, SILF to HEMO I don't think they can?

Yes, we all know that this is quite likely a transformational deal. It’s not what I and others bought into, but we’ll take it if it puts us in a better position that we were in when we bought.

The fact remains that the communication has been poor, and their is absolutely no reason whatsoever that AK couldn’t have put out an RNS with a few words telling us roughly where we are. There is absolutely no reason why he couldn’t. I’m sick of hearing about what the smug arrogant young woman can and can’t say. We are shareholders, and while the reality is that we are viewed as being about as welcome as chewing gum on the sole of someones slippers, we are nevertheless part owners.

Doesn't help us as our shares are still completely and utterly worthless at the moment,as they have been for many months during this "accelerated" RTO which is now in its 10th month since they began discussions.
