Sunbeam, are you for real? Interims due tomorrow or Monday so company is in a closed period. I am confident interims will provide the guidance the market is looking for.Interestingly we had a tweet from Nappdrr from Nigeria 2 days ago that suggested that he had been in contact and received a letter from Frontier Oil (which he posted), 'now Savannah Petroleum' and I am sure his ear is closer to the ground than ours. Do you really think those leading brokers would join our long term strategy without a degree of certainty about this companies future. The company said themselves that it's not a regular occurrence for brokers of their size to work with companies of SAVP's current stature.

A solid day in anticipation of a backlog of news. Historically half year results have always fallen in September. News as soon as tomorrow and as late as Friday in my book.

Upward pressure still there due to buying over the lkast few days offset by some selling today. I'm happy we're not going up too quickly here but not many sellers around and good volumes. I recall poor volumes not so long ago so things are looking up. RNS I suspect by the end of next week at the latest.

Big shout out to Zengas for taking the trouble to generously post your research on SAVP........we all have to do our own research and risk analysis and everyone's risk appetite is different, but just a nod in your direction....I've stuck with SAVP despite real worries over the 7E delays and share price decline, but with institutions remaining firmly onboard am convinced that we are now approaching a genuine rerating halfway towards current proven value - which is just as well as I convinced the Mrs to put £25k of her ISA cash into buying more SAVP a year ago as it hit below mid twenties...thankfully, she's back in profit and I'm off the naughty step - for now!

JSE (though I've lightened there to raise for Savp etc), Savp, Sey, Ptal as my main interests for now. Would have gone for ECO but don't like being spread too thin and trying not to focus too much on pure exploration only.
