03/8/2022 16:35 | Trading update tomorrow - has been hit stupidly hard of late - fair value for this is fifty percent higher at least | salver2
03/8/2022 16:30 | A very good day for SDG into the close. Not sure what has driven the price up today. | our haven
03/8/2022 10:50 | net, SNR has come good for you, congrats. | essentialinvestor

01/8/2022 11:51 | Just added 20ks worth I shall live or die by the sword! | salver2
01/8/2022 11:40 | Doesn't ITV have a net debt of £615m (up 32%)?Can see this drifting to below £1 until H1 results 4th August. | disc0dave45
01/8/2022 11:22 | I am a value investor. I buy low PE stocks that pay decent dividends. I like to see a decent margin and net cash makes me happy. I hold LGEN, PHNX, POLR, SOM, SYNT and MGAM. I also bought into ITV today which some would argue also has a terrible chart but I see a reversal there. SDG chart is awful and I can wait, just as I waited probably 6 months on ITV and on MGAM. (Just to add I am in profit on all my stocks apart from POLR) | rcturner2
01/8/2022 11:04 | I’m slightly with net curtains on this - a trend is a trend until it is not a trend and anything retail durable ie Dfs,Scs,and many others have at least halved in value - I think Sanderson have a very different customer and are a very different beast but it’s a little like an old fashioned war where you slaughter all the inhabitants without asking any real questions - we shall see on the 4th of August ( when for my pennysworth we shall see how stupidly low these are) | salver2
01/8/2022 10:32 | fair enough netcurtains but SDG is clearly in a downtrend regardlesss of its value credentials and potential. I would not buy this stock until it moved to an uptrend. This is not a "dip". As we have seen, buying on the way down just loses you money. One has to accept reality, not wish it were not so. | alter ego
01/8/2022 10:16 | he who lives by the chart dies by the chart. What I mean by this, if you set your goal as the chart you will eventually end up losing the lot. You need to go more on fundamental data, good research - find VALUE - not graph shape. Value could be in the balance sheet OR value could be in "potential" for the future (like a new type of computer etc or a new type of biochemical). SDG has loads of cash, potential value and a good price. Its graph shape is terrible. | netcurtains
01/8/2022 09:57 | eric, you make some good and sensible points. However I don't tend to fight the chart no matter how much I like a stock. JUP is an example of a stock that has many times appeared to be a bargain and yet has still continued to fall. I see that repeated on many stocks in the current market. In a bear market front running a recession there is no rush to buy anything. Decent companies can end up on PE ratios of 5 or worse purely on the back of poor market sentiment, especially thinly traded small caps. | rcturner2
26/7/2022 08:36 | DIY growth first half of 2022 (pretty strong). | netcurtains
25/7/2022 19:06 | If they were given a pe of 10 on next year’s earnings ( if they made what is projected) and add in the 25 million cash that they have the shares should be about 1.80-2.00 a share not a pound -insane price but I suppose small cap little liquidity and overblown fears etc etc | salver2
25/7/2022 18:49 | This was posted tonight Sanderson Design Group – today’s agreement with NEXT shows it is back on track and progressing, while its shares are undervalued | dan_the_epic
25/7/2022 18:49 | Who remembers when I was a vocal bear in December because people would start worrying about consumers again. I feel vindicated!! The good news is that investors have now gone too far to the downside in this stock and on the complete market and I have bought here again today. Call me Mr Contrarian. Jerome will balk and the market will be staring down the gun at 0% interest rates again and there will be a colossal valuation rally everywhere. | dan_the_epic
25/7/2022 17:08 | Luck with your holding. | essentialinvestor
25/7/2022 17:06 | EI Yes. I bought in at 57p. I know the Chair and have a very high regard for her, I have also worked in Wallcoverings. I think this is a very well managed company with great brands. But it's a bit gutting to see it drop from over 200p to nearly 100p! | barnesian
25/7/2022 17:00 | Barn, have you looked back at the longer term chart?, all be it this is arguably a better run company now. | essentialinvestor
25/7/2022 10:29 | I have a feeling that we hit the bottom last Friday. Hmm 10K sale at 103p just gone through. Friday's close was 107.5p. Let's see where it finishes up today. I don't know why I watch daily movements, or even worse, intraday movements, when I am in this share for the long term 3+ years! | barnesian
25/7/2022 09:41 | Thanks netcurtains re dividend | gswredland

23/7/2022 16:30 | Net..are all your friends still on the home DIY ? | hotfinance14
22/7/2022 18:00 | net, history never repeats but it sure does rhyme - attributed to Mark Twain, although there is no record of him ever saying it. None of us know the exact future and those claiming any certainty re stock movements can end up looking very silly and very quickly. off topic net - nice week for COA, might be worth a look on a bad week. | essentialinvestor |
