It would be great to get a director (and or institution) buy in the next few days.

There have been 2 years of asset and distribution rationalisation and "cleaning up" of SUKs and operations generally - coupled with decent results and dividend.

It looks to me as if the company is being readied for acquisition - perhaps for when the world economy outlook improves.

Added today and intending to hold for 2/3 years (DV!).

Just thoughts - DYOR

You often get this on results day then the buyers flock in later. Broker upgrades will come and their clients will buy. Always take advantage of the dips many do and will then get bigger dividend payouts.

Currently, the up to date pe ratio is 14 (not bad for a company whose profits grew at over 100%).

The dividend rise was a nice surprise. The outlook suggests costs being passed on OK and USA doing brill (dividend rise also suggests the outlook is good). Lots of stuff happening under the bonnet. UK factories producing at full steam (it's a great bonus to have UK factories).

Profits before and after tax both up well over 100%

Working from home = more people doing DIY (if any gas oil supplies cut to EU, Germany etc have already said they want more people to work from home )

Very happy with these results, great all round performance. So see what the market thinks, hard to judge what the expectations were.

Quote - "I am extremely pleased to be able to report a strong set of results, not only delivering substantial growth against a year impacted by COVID-19, but also against 2020, prior to the pandemic. We delivered an excellent performance from manufacturing, continued strong growth from the Morris & Co. brand, strong licensing income and more than 40% sales growth in the USA, a key target growth market for us.

Around 165- 175 range - the only thing that slightly puts me off is the directors shareholding’s are quite low although I expect they get a lot of options

I think the results on Thursday will be very good and I think the cost of living argument is a bit overblown as far as Sandersons demographics go
