'it's a slam dunk certainty' hilarious Witheco and despite that you went for it with money you couldn't afford to lose? there have been some strange posts over time here and your last one is up there with them. one day you must explain your investment strategy to us but not now, there's only so much we can take on a given day.

SLE has never been a gamble on loosing money (you can or cannot) afford - it's a slam dunk certainty, that's what's quite extraordinary with people like you constantly ramping it day in day out, month in month out, year in year out... Unless you have a inverse on this trade there will and shall be no bag of gold at the end of this rainbow just patients, lots and lots of patients.

I do miss Links, used to read his stuff on II after all the nonsense on here before the boards got closed down and montyhedge, see his name pop up every now and then on the likes of Lloyds. I've still got a small holding in SLE, sold most around the 44p mark to kind of breakeven over the last 10 years or so.Good Luck to remaining holders, keep the faith and burn the shorters :)

it must have hurt quite bad for you to still post here long after you closed out. don't let it get to you like it did to Chartrader - he went totally doolally in the end, posting 25 plus times a day. it was frankly a kindness to ban him. btw i hope linksdean, wherever he is, reads this thread still. he would, i'm sure be amused to know you considered him your 'arch nemesis'. of course though he was the ultimate nemesis for poor old Chartrader. Chartrader used to say he had lost a lot of money in San Leon's Polish days, that he could ill afford. i think gambling money you can’t afford to lose without proper research on AIM stocks is a fool's game. totally different company now with a completely different business case, thanks to Oisin's leadership and the support of Martin Hughes but i guess difficult for the likes of you to see that.

What's to miss, when I have still got my arch nemesis linksdean and there various reincarnations like you on the platform ramping this dead dog for what must be over a decade.

75%. Tosca has own an increasing absurd % amount of the company for about 8 years now if I remember well with not much to show for so far but the mega deal due sometimes this year should hopefully be the catalyst. We ll see. Why Tosca hedge fund is buying so many and and being SO patient holding on to them with zero results for so many years is baffling only they know the real reason.

Price is now at support level. You will unlikely get a better price than this if you want to buy in.

Enterprise valuation = £45 million. virtually zero debt. that values san leon's 10.5% holding in OML18, Oza and other overseas assets all at zero. given the OML18 is considered to be world class and the secured debt from Midwestern is over 100m, it suggests that we are now significantly undervalued. clearly Martin Hughes thinks so. he just bought another 1%of the company, which takes his holding here to 75%

I'm thinking we must about due a "further progress update", which will in fact be a lack of progress update due to things amazingly being more complex than expected meaning that dates have to be pushed out.

One of those cases where I'd love to be proved wrong, but that would go against the track record on this one.

And back down to recent lows. So predictable and soooooo boring. Wait for the RNS end of March saying delayed till end of June and so on. Malcy believes the reward will be great for the shareholders, After 7 years in Nigeria doing countless deals well I do hope so! Still waiting for the promised hefty dividend btw, it d better be good

WsM812 - Initially I bought them through Iweb via my nominee account later transferring them out in certificated form. Unfortunately I'm not able to transfer them back in again as they do not accept the transfer in of Irish Certificates! It's very frustrating although at least the share price has risen in the time since I wanted to sell!

I hold my SLE shares in Certificated form and wanted to ask does anyone know the best way to sell? I tried to sell recently through Jarvis (sellmysharecertificate.com)but they advised that they are unable to proceed with my trade as it is an Irish share certificate? Any advice would be appreciated.

This was on Twitter from SLE:-RNS: Update on Oza Field, Nigeria. Decklar and its co-venturer Millenium Oil & Gas Co Ltd have executed a new sale and purchase agreement for the delivery of 30,000 barrels of crude oil to the Edo Refinery & Petrochemicals Co Ltd in Edo State, Nigeria.
