Good find Homebrew! This seems very much under the radar but I keep getting drawn back to it. Looking forward to news!

Partially I guess in that a breakdown in the proposed funding arrangements would cause a price drop but equally I expect a rise once funding is finally completed.

Nice article here comparing different SOP projects (including this one):

Just added another 50,000 at 33.3p to take holding to 200,000 shares in SIPP. The 5 year return in SO4 is many multi-bags from here with their clear strategy to deliver premium Sulphate of Potash from potentially 9 accessible Lakes. I also think we will hear of the financing/funding agreement this week which will send the shares on a significant re-rate given we will be producing product in Q1 2021.

Agreed, 3 in 5 years would be great and operationally he seems to be delivering to date so I'm happy to believe it for now.
Also good to hear that other lakes should be cheaper to develop which makes sense once they have proved the model/ironed out any issues.

Good article Russ

This quote is interesting: I knew there were 9 lakes in total but not this specific 3 lakes in 5 years focus:

I intend to build three potassium lake operations here over five years, and get north of 1Mtpa of SOP into the market - if the market can take it," he said.

I don't think this makes any difference at all to the current round of funding, but will certainly help with refinancing the Taurus facility and funding Lake Two.

Today's RNS

Salt Lake Potash Limited (SO4 or the Company) is pleased to announce it has been granted 'Green' label certification for debt issued to develop its Lake Way Project. The 'Green' label provides assurance to all stakeholders of the positive environmental contribution of fertiliser production at SO4's Lake Way Project.

HIGHLIGHTS
§ The 'Green' loan label is as set out by the LMA and APLMA green loan principles1. The eligibility was assessed by DNV GL.

§ As part of the review, Wood Canada Limited conducted a technical assessment of greenhouse gas emissions of SOP production at Lake Way, relative to Mannheim SOP production in other locations. The assessment concluded that a Mannheim process plant of comparable capacity would have 60% higher CO2 emissions than the Lake Way Project.

§ The 'Green' loan label confirms the positive environmental aspects of the Lake Way Project for the Company's debt partners, as well as all other stakeholders including the local community, offtakers and suppliers.

§ The designation also covers associated governance procedures relating to correct management of proceeds and reporting.

§ Investor interest in green investment has grown rapidly over the past decade, with estimates showing the global volume of green debt has grown from less than A$5 billion in 2010 to more than A$150 billion in 20182.

TONY SWIERICZUK, Chief Executive Officer
"We are delighted to have received the 'Green' label designation for the Lake Way Project, confirming the positive environmental contribution our project will make towards reducing emissions from the global fertiliser industry."

Yes the charts look very healthy I agree 40p shouldn't prove to be much resistance.

Also would have loved to buy a load more but there seemingly are so many good opportunities around at the moment, can't win them all :)

Good link, thanks George.. and as you infer, it'll be interesting to see what the volume/action is like on the ASX overnight.

I had another long look at the charts and while I think we'll pause at 40p I donlt think that level will be that big adeal to surpass.

All very pleasing and I only wish I bought even more of these.. and let's not forget SO4 have 9 of these lakes to mine so we really are only at the beginning.

Was Australia closed by the time the news came out? Just because the share price in Aus is equivalent to 31.3p

Here is the weekend video from Justin Waite, nothing new really that hasn't been covered by recent interviews (starts around 20 minutes in) but a bit of background on who's invested in the latest fund raise:

The final funding piece is the only thing that matters with this stock in my view. Can't see why it wouldn't re-rate higher, all else equal.

It's the main risk imv so the price is likely to go up once sorted but it's hard to predict.
I don't see construction as a big risk so once finance is sorted and with offtake agreements in place cashflow is not far away.
