03/3/2009 17:02 | A bit slow to get down to reading the FY results today - as usual, pretty long and detailed. But the key thing is operating profits (stripping out the IFRS losses on the venture portfolio) which are £1.9m; so a MCap of £3.55m gives a fully-taxed PE of just 2.7x. Operating cash inflow of £2.6m! NAV of 71.9p. Of course, Sphere and Atraverda will surely (!) do the biz once market conditions allow IPO/sales to take place. | jonwig

03/1/2009 08:16 | Sensopad alive and well? If, that is, it's our Sensopad - I can't find any references to other users of the name: | jonwig
16/12/2008 08:46 | Article in yesterday's FT about a variety of small companies and how they are faring in the current climate. The most optimistic was Brandon Medical (Leeds-based, I didn't know that). Do we have a stake in their new medical theatre lighting? I don't remember. FT site is undergoing maintenance so I can't access it online. | jonwig
26/11/2008 19:01 | Another achievement: | jonwig
04/11/2008 14:03 | Many thanks for that, Hastings! SAG (silly but apt ...) have announced quite a few good achievements recently (not via RNS, though) which, I hope, will help bolster their bottom line. | jonwig

21/10/2008 19:06 | Sagentia's dual function pressure gauge development is a first for WIKA * Submitted by: Sagentia Group (The Generics Group) * Tuesday, 21 October 2008 Sagentia has drawn on twenty years' expertise in sensor technology to develop a novel solution for its client WIKA that allows the display from an analogue measuring device to be converted into electrical signals. | jonwig

23/9/2008 08:50 | Atraverda news, new CEO: RNS says 'Chord Capital' is an investor. But SAG sold Chord Capital, and SAG still holds 8% of Atraverda. | jonwig

02/9/2008 20:12 | El G ... agreed, and the asset position understates the value of the building: if most of the £0.91m is 6 months' rent, a valuation of £14m gives a yield of 13% pa - I'd say 7-8% would be more appropriate, ie a value of £22m. I see revenues from the TT Electronics sensors get put back again! The incorrect data given by ADVFN isn't all that uncommon, but there is another company which has retained the ticker SAG: Sagerama which is suspended or recently delisted, I think. | jonwig
02/9/2008 18:51 | Jon - Just to prove you're not the only one still here... Not exactly jubilation, but nice to see any move up, late in the day. I agree that the results read well, and as you say these should be the last to be dragged down by CMR and Turftrax (one day I hope to see uplift on the former, but I'm not holding my breath). Hopefully no-one's being put off by the incorrect market cap shown by ADVFN. In case anyone's looking in on the back of the results announcement, there are 20.2m shares in issue. If SGA continues to make a £0.6m operating profit per half year, and the exceptionals disappear, a forward P/E of (say) 10 would equate to a share price of 60p. | elgordo
02/9/2008 08:11 | Very upbeat H1 results. Overall loss down to asset falls (CMF, TTX) which haven't much further to fall. Perhaps an bottom-line profit for the FY? The market will react with jubilation ... maybe. | jonwig
28/8/2008 11:17 | Sphere fundraising without SAG it appears: | jonwig
21/8/2008 12:31 | Atraverda news, including new CEO: | jonwig |
