16/3/2004 18:59 | double6 - you really are an idiot, at times. You called this before it was refinanced. As no-one knew how(or even if) the company would be refinanced, it was nothing more than a 50/50 call. Now the company has cash, sane people can evaluate it. Rgds dell (no current position or opinion on SAG) | dell314
16/3/2004 18:52 | yeah and you sold, unlucky. | responsible lad

18/2/2004 12:23 | Moving off bottom. Please explain? | targatarga
06/2/2004 10:27 | double6 - I just knew that you or Responsible Lad would jump aboard after this morning's fall. This company appears bust unless they can pull off a sizeable placing IMO. Bear in mind that their key contract with Lockheed is likely to be paid in dollars, and small companies rarely hedge. If you take out intangibles, NAV is zero(slightly below actually). Compare admin costs to revenue and these guys are going to have to pull in some massive additional contracts to look viable. This just looks like directors trying to start a new business in a shell and vastly overpaying the vendors. Equity placing is definite. Only question is how much and at what price? Rgds dell all IMO & DYOR | dell314
06/2/2004 09:53 | With Revenues expected to increase in H2, has today seen SAG bottom out ? A MM Sell early on dropped the price to 0.75/1.0, but some buying has moved it back upto 0.8/1.1. A Market Cap of around £3 million seems fair value (IMHO). Expect a fund-raising in due course to guarantee the future for this promising company. As always DYOR...... | double6
05/2/2004 17:16 | they probably will issue a placing around the 0.75-1.00p range.. no point in hanging on until they raise equity.... | safman
05/2/2004 17:12 | Anyone fancy a punt. This looks extremely shaky. | targatarga
04/2/2004 12:23 | SAGging further today. | audereestfacere
03/2/2004 13:48 | Moose - I didn't think you were encouraging me to buy. I did consider averaging down, but decided it was probably a waste of money. | audereestfacere
03/2/2004 12:55 | Hi, audereestfacere. I didn't mean to give the impression that I was advising you to buy; I was referring to my own punt, which will remain small and speculative until such time as positive, substantive news emerges from SAG. All the best, Moose. | manormoose
03/2/2004 12:15 | Moose - Thank you for your views, but I'll stay on the sidelines as I already hold 57,000 shares. I don't really want to buy more just to average down from 1.80. | audereestfacere
03/2/2004 10:58 | Morning, audereestfacere. Why is the price sagging? I guess it's because the last interims contained a warning that they're after more money to fund expansion, but offered nothing in the way of firm good news in return. I can understand investors' indifference, although at 1.15 I feel SAG are still worth a small, speculative punt. Cheers, Moose. | manormoose
03/2/2004 09:45 | Doesn't SAG produce software for airline security training? In the present climate, business should be booming so why is the price sagging? | audereestfacere
02/2/2004 15:35 | Nearly at an all time lowe. | targatarga
23/12/2003 11:12 | A Merry Christmas to all SAGers. Sing along to "Sag Lowe sweet chariot." | audereestfacere
18/12/2003 10:36 | Does anyone have any information/opinions about this company? My holding is a hangover from Lowe. SAG is certainly an accurate name for the share price! | audereestfacere
05/9/2003 08:08 | Apparently Smart Approach will be reporting Interims in Nov/Dec so should be extremely interesting to say the least. I also suspect that there could be another deal (acquisition) going through before then. | ammoruso
03/9/2003 13:13 | A significant point here that the firm has been formed by a reverse takeover of Robert Lowe plc, a firm which I gather made replica football shirts. The business was closed down, the original pension fund closed down and this RNS (not visible on ADVFN) describes the change of business. target='window'>http They used the reversal to pay off the debt of the original firm, a whole 150K, and are left with about 2.5M to develop the business. Best therefore considered more as an IPO!. SAG are not a security firm in the normal sense of the word, a provider of gorilla staff etc. They are a CBT training firm specialising in airport security training software and courses and if you check out their web site at You'll see that as well as the Lockheed Martin contract, they have a number of other contracts with international airports. | mcel101 |
