13/1/2021 17:33 | Were they to hit 800 and have that restriction still in place then they should stop selling. | scottish007
13/1/2021 17:30 | That assumes that they have only made certain rooms available on the ship to make 800 spaces available. That would make no business sense whatsoever. | scottish007
13/1/2021 16:40 | Scottish007, The figures are from snapshots I took on the relevant days from the web sites availability search - so not official in any way, but a 100% accurate reflection of the availability the company is showing. Your calculation is top-line cabin availability: 148/554 = 73.29% cabin occupancy. That is correct. My 63.1% represents pax occupancy. In your example of 143 twin and 5 single cabins available: Pax bookings available = (143 * 2) + 5 = 291. Current maximum pax occupancy of ship during Covid restrictions = 800. This gives a pax occupancy of 509, representing a 63.63% occupancy rate. | fjgooner
13/1/2021 16:34 | Gooner; There is no point going into denial.turn on the news .it's fact. | cleverinvester
13/1/2021 16:34 | Scottish007, You're welcome. No limit on cabins per se - only on total pax. The 2 may interact of course. The figures are from snapshots I took on the relevant days from the web sites availability search - so not official in any way, but a 100% accurate reflection of the availability the company is showing. | fjgooner
13/1/2021 16:06 | And a new Brazilian variant of Covid .I think we can safely say the ship has sunk and won't be sailing till 2022 at the earliest. | cleverinvester
13/1/2021 15:37 | Still no clearer where you got your figures from. | scottish007
13/1/2021 15:29 | Are you saying that only 80% of cabins are made available for forward bookings? That would be a strange way to operate. | scottish007
13/1/2021 14:02 | Thanks for explaining fjg, makes sense now lol.Guess the 800 is 80%, I wonder if this will change if/when all passengers are vaccinated??. | discodave45

13/1/2021 13:39 | Glennglad I off loaded CNA with a very healthy margin. My average 32p. I can't see one person here getting a healthy margin out of SAGA.The majority are nursing losses. | cleverinvester
13/1/2021 12:51 | CNA also down 3%. So what? STUPIDINVESTER can only afford CNA with his benefits money so why bother being here. Oh I know, Because he's a SHORTER | professor_glennglad
13/1/2021 12:34 | Market only down a fraction,But SAGA down nearly 3% .Not good. | cleverinvester
13/1/2021 11:12 | ScottishYour numbers look okay.I'm not too bothered at this stage about bookings, although obviously important, IMO it's more about will they sail on time and at what capacity (booked doesn't mean they will actually go, they may be tested positive).Cancellati | discodave45
13/1/2021 10:19 | Here we go again... | diku
13/1/2021 09:54 | SHORTER STUPIDINVESTER.. I own shares here, you clearly don’t but love to share unsubstantiated rubbish daily using multiple usernames Incl charlie88888. Those are the facts but you carry on. Nobody wants you here apart from charlie88888 and other incarnations of yourself | professor_glennglad
13/1/2021 09:27 | Glennglad: Shorting SAGA? Do you understand how the market works? I don't think so .The only thing you understand is creating fake accounts and posting rubbish. How sad you are. | cleverinvester
13/1/2021 08:57 | CLEVERINVESTER.. This SHORTER read over on LSE?? How about some actual evidence?? Not invested here but shares unsubstantiated dross 5-6 times a day. Proper SHORTER | professor_glennglad
13/1/2021 08:53 | the difference between a cruise and a lot of other hospitality / leisure events/destinations is that the passengers and crew will be known well in advance and can be vaccinated/tested etc. so if no-one on the ship has got Covid you cant catch it. On a normal holiday you will be exposed to the masses and if pubs or restaurants open up 1) they will be packed and 2) it is logistically not possible to test all the customers in advance . | dicktrade
13/1/2021 08:33 | Likely all cruisers will have been vaccinated by embarkation. | city chappy
13/1/2021 08:23 | I did tell you , I read this morning over on LSE , Some of you have an average of 2.60 and are thinking of buying more. There is much better ways to throw away your money . | cleverinvester
12/1/2021 18:12 | Warning don't get taken in by the SHORTER known as CLEVERINVESTER (definitely not clever), watch him repost the same thing over and over again. He is the guy with multiple accounts | professor_glennglad |
