And down we go again.

Just remember tongosti, the guru, you could of sold at 56p yesterday and above 60p on Monday.

Won't be long before we are at your 47p stop level. Losing profit day by day!!! Still you have your moving averages charts- perhaps you could sell those?? Lots of pretty colours, I bet.

Lol auson,

You are not really comparing a huge gambling distressed share with few assets and £200m of debt with a £60bn valued commodity giant with £80bn commodity based net assets and a 8% dividend. Are you?

My investment there is up nearly 20% in 3 months with a 4% dividend coming and another in August. Although it is a 6 figure sum, I can cash it in easily.

This investment is barely surviving. Not worth the risk currently imho. Even for a small punt. Could easily turn down rapidly.

A word of warning for those thinking they are a hedgefund going short using retail spreadbets/ CFD's your broker is not your friend.

'A leading seller of contracts-for-difference made about £25 million betting against its own customers during the first three months of the year. Plus500 said that client losses had given it a $30.6 million boost in the first quarter, helping to push adjusted profits at the group in the period up by 2 per cent year-on-year to $102.6 million. Revenue rose 4 percent to $215.6 million. The London-listed, Israel-based Plus500 operates a popular online platform that enables punters to trade contracts-for-difference, which are derivatives that are used to place leveraged bets on the direction of prices in financial markets.' - The Times

Was disappointed there was no refinancing needed here. Yet'

wallywoo,

Is that the short you took out about 6 months ( and 100p )before you first mentioned it here, and just after Jak mentioned he was short and I challenged you to go short ?

Strange that you would buy a stock at 320p saying its going to 400p+ then short it at 185p

I suspect 185p is where you sold your 320p holding, just a hunch.

What are you talking about? I closed my short at 38p.

It is S4 themselves that say H1 results will be terrible. You don't need to be a genius!! And if the ultimate bullshxter (SMS) is saying results will be bad, then they will be terrible.

Terrible results mean 47p is coming soon. The trend is firmly down with just a tiny rally every now and then!!!

you mean like you were confident for 20p to be next old chap? hows that coming along ...

One stays with the trend until it bends mr rookie (assuming you know how to make a coin in this game - which you clearly dont from the BS you write)

sounds like you are very frustrated. did you finally (as in after all your colourful hindsight stories on here) go short post results at 40p champ?! Ouch

Word of advice. This game is clearly is not for the mentally lazy and your ilk you halfwit (you should google trailing stops concept - but you won't as you can't tell socks from stocks). Lol

thank you for the entertainment.

Out at 47p tells me you are an idiot. You could be out today at 55p, with a load more profit. Or out yesterday at 60p.

I have no doubt that this will hit 47p before long. That's because H1 24 results will be terrible.

wallywoo

Rubbish tongosti. H1 Results will be very poor. Therefore, the share price will be poor too. You are just encouraging pi's to buy into a small rally. S4 has had many small rallies from 850 downwards.

read following again pal:

One gets rich/poor by simply being constantly on the right/wrong side of moving averages.

If your reading of "fundamentals" force you to go long on the wrong side of the moving averages then we all know what that means.

Fundamentals here were amazing at 850 and terrible at 35. Markets top on good news and bottom on terrible news. Clearly, you still have to learn markets proceed fundamentals not the other way around.

Long story short, it doesn't matter how you cut it, THE only way to make a coin in this game is to stay on the right side of MA's. FACT.

However, if you can make (literally0 one single example where one went belly up staying on the right side of the market, please let us know. All ears ... One single example ...

PS. you are effectively saying the market cannot go up because your reading of fundamentals is what you say they are. that's your opinion. What I am saying is that the market doesn't care what your opinion is but has a mind of its own. One only makes money agreeing with the market's opinion. fact am afraid not an opinion. due to my ginormous size at correct inflection point, I am up huge reading the tape correctly and you still tell me what i see on the screen is wrong simply because it doesn't make sense - ... to you...!

Tongosti, one gets rich or poor by looking at the business momentum and buying companies for recovery.

Sfor has £10m of extra debt in H1, and h2 2023 was a huge downturn in revenue compared to previous periods.

2021 rev(m) h1 279m h2 408m

2022 h1 446m h2 624m

2023 h1 517m h2 494m

So business momentum is very bad and extra debt has been deferred until now. So there's very little chance of a good recovery yet. All those millions spent on acquisitions wasted.
