guys iv worked it out! this really is great news, today alexander chistyakov bought 774,130 shares taking his holding to 13.39% which is 44,639,044 and so did donald wolcott

also today alexander took 50% control of wrm which holds 22,860,000 shares in rpo and the other 50% of wrm is held by don wolcott now divide 22,860,000 by 2 (50%) and you get 11,430,000 add that to alexander holding and you get 56,069,044 shares which is 16.82%

the last rns of todays saying don wolcott holding reduce is refering to the wrm company which he indirectly holds shares of rpo

to summarise, both directors bought shares today and on top 50% of wrm limited got transfered to alexander chistyakov from mr don wolcott hence the last rns refers to don wolcott holding reduced from wrm

so Mr. Wolcott holds a direct total of 23,713,341 shares in Ruspetro representing 7.11% of the Company's issued share capital and indirect holding of 11,430,000 representing another 3.43% thats grand total of 10.54% of rpo together these two directors holding now is 27.36%

this is very significant 27.36% and you only need another 1.64% for a takeover!!!

do the maths guys and you see it works out perfectly, im not sure if i explained it easy though

I'm surprised the share price dropped to nearly 20p in the morning, if the directors hadn't bought further we probably would have tested 20p or lower, I didn't think we would see that level again after the rally.

It almost seems to good to be true i.e. we hit all time lows, directors buy significant amounts, there is a rally, directors buy further, and now logic dictates there will be some good news, maybe even a string of positive RNS's

There is an AGM on the 17th which should shed some light on the financing and any updates. We haven't had any solid good news but if and when we do this will fly, but until then expect tree shaking,MM games and plenty of price volatility, there is a lot of speculation and not enough substance for some stability.

fortune favours the brave;)

Henners1993 , iv done some working out and this is how it goes, ranj79 is right,

donald wolcott bought shares on 26 march amout of 800,147 and increased his holding to 7.097%

then alexandar chistyakov bought shares on 26 march amount of 656,521 shares increasing to 13.16%

then today alexandar bought 774,130 shares increasing to 13.39%

and donald wolcott also bought 53,194 shares increasing to 7.11%

with wrm holding 6.86% alexandar chistryakov total holding is 16.82%

and donald wolcott holding reduce to 3.68% so strangely donald bought shares and then somone else bought donalds shares, another rns should be out, either alexandar bought donalds shares or someone else, its looking good

The development of the deposits is far not easy, at least for that equipment necessary for horizontal drilling is much more difficult in Siberia than in the U.S.. Moreover, there are still many uncertainties about the geology of the region. "It will take a lot of research and exploration, while ascertaining what potential the Bazhenov," said Thane Gustafson for Russia and the Caspian region's energy consultancy IHS CERA. Even the most skeptical experts agree, however, that the reserves can be enormous. Another consultant company - Wood Mackenzie, in Bazhenov deposits were five times more than those in Backe. Despite expected difficulties the industry is stimulated by the opportunity to replicate the success in the U.S. where hydraulic fraking technologies like horizontal drilling and made accessible deposits whose exploitation has long been thought to be unprofitable. Originally boom began with shale gas, but recently spread to oil, which is significantly lower energy prices in the U.S.. between industries in both countries, however, a significant difference, since the original launch in U.S. shale production is given by small and independent companies like Anadarko, Apache and Chesapeake. Currently, these companies are responsible for about half of U.S. production, while in Russia the independent sector has minimal presence through companies such as Urals Energy, PetroNeft and Irkutsk Oil. A major successes reported dealing with the extraction of oil sands Ruspetro, which last year listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Pretty chunky buys here. If they are happy buying at this price, then so am I.
