Yes. I believe there is a 10% chance it will hit 35p. The most likey risk of this is there being a further substantial delay in the coming online of the machinery that is hampering the condensate production.

Ok - Thanks Darcon. There is no doubt in my mind we have turned the corner with this stock. We should easily hit 80p again at some point this year.

From Dow Jones article: ""Sibur chose a very favourable moment for the primary placement, this allowed it to boast the lowest coupon among the currently outstanding Russian 'BB'-rated papers," said Mr. Sklemin.

Whether debut issuer and independent oil and gas development and production company RusPetro PLC (RPO.LN) will get away with similar pricing will remain to be seen after it concludes meetings with investors on Friday ahead of potential dollar bond. RusPetro is rated B- by S&P."

I think there is a chance we will get the results of the $350mn loan note and its pricing tomorrow afternoon.

Once we close above 52p there is a massive gap all the way to 80p to be filled.

Interesting that SOL has taken an uptick.

I had a buy limit order in place.

I don't know how to put a SOL chart into the header.

I tried adding yesterday but they went into auction. As soon as they came out the price started rising again. That is a clear indication of the seller being filled and buyers coming in.

Any luck with that SOL chart?

I hope so. I was able to add a few more yesterday during the spike-down. This is now my largest position.

Judging by the price action of the last 2 days, I believe our big seller has now gone. We should start moving sharply higher very soon. I can see a quick move to 80p in the short term.

Above is a link to an nteresting report from Veles Capital dated Monday, 28 January 2013 on the market for Russian bonds. They state on first page that: "Ruspetro starts a road‐show of Eurobonds for 50 mn USD." This must be a typo mistake as S&P's credit rating is on the basis of a USD350 mn notes issue as follows:

"Rating Action
On Jan. 25, 2013, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its preliminary
'B-' long-term corporate credit rating to London-based independent oil and gas
exploration and production company RUSPETRO Plc. The outlook is stable.
At the same time, we assigned a 'B-' preliminary issue rating to RUSPETRO's
pending $350 million notes issue.
The preliminary ratings are subject to the successful issuance of the notes
and our review of final documentation. Any change in the amount or terms of
the issue would trigger a review by Standard & Poor's and could affect the
current corporate credit and issue ratings."

Anyway, page 8 of the Veles Report shows the yield curve for Russian company debt issues in the oil & gas sector. The S&P report mentions that the offered Ruspetro notes would be due 2018. Ruspetro currently pays interest of 10.9% on the Sberbank facility according to the last annual report (reduced from 14% as of October 2010). The DeGolyer and MacNaughton reserves appraisal report put a cost of capital in the base case of 10%.

If the company is successful with the loan note offering and reduces its cost of capital below 10% then that presumably will have a favourable impact on the valuation of its reserves and would explain perhaps why DeGolyer and MacNaughton used the 10% cost of capital base case assumption when they prepared their report in June 2012. DeGolyer and MacNaughton's upside case was a cost of capital of 8% so it will be interesting if the company is able to achieve that in the currently bullish market for high-yielding bonds.
