16/3/2006 11:42 | Er....good thing that I'm a bit patient. still holding but nervous as with all good news revealed they can now be expected to fall further than the market if the market nudges down from this highish level. | ben gunn
15/3/2006 16:31 | DrKW Lifts RPS Price Target To 191p Wednesday, March 15, 2006 9:26:46 AM ET Dow Jones Newswires 1307 GMT [Dow Jones] Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein lifts RPS's (RPS.LN) target price to 191p from 181p, saying organic growth prospects look bright with water, nuclear and Netherlands now enjoying better markets. "2006 will also benefit from a full year's contribution from the purchases made in 2005, notably ECL," it says. Maintains hold rating. Shares trade -1.8% at 179.25p. (DWE Bit conservative if you ask me - I'd exprect more upgrades as the year progresses. | wjccghcc
15/3/2006 14:34 | Header updated with 14 March update. Good luck all holders!! Like it whan a plan comes together...... | win2003
14/3/2006 16:13 | Flat on results day - for RPS that is a triumph! Onwards and upwards from here in the fullness of time, I believe. | bletherer
14/3/2006 13:19 | Some holders preferring to take profits. I'm holding as prospects look good. | scumdog
14/3/2006 08:26 | Profit before taxation +32% Earnings per share (basic) +27% They've nailed it. No wonder a further trading update was needed. And a reminder that this is not a flash in the pan: "The Group was listed on the London Stock Exchange in April 1995; since then profits have increased 20 fold." [btw the accounting changes have meant the headline eps actually has risen 46%! Whilst this is not like-on-like growth it still helps to make forward pe look even cheaper] | dull gull
14/3/2006 07:51 | Excellent set of results in every respect. This should keep the scalpers at bay and allow for a well deserved rise in the share price I will be adding. | a3477681
11/3/2006 13:01 | Bit unusual to see a comment like that issued 2 trading days prior to finals, but given the content I'm not complaining. Should hopefully mean that there'll be mild profit-taking at worst on results day and certainly no repeat of some of the sharp falls we've seen in the past. Nice one. | bletherer
11/3/2006 11:26 | Yup, been adding on the dip over the last two days. Looks like all of their businesses should have a cracking year in 2006. | wjccghcc
10/3/2006 17:58 | Should see 200p next week. | scumdog
10/3/2006 17:27 | An upgrade from 'top end of' expectations to 'above' expectations. Add in a helpful accounting change and the headline pe ratio quoted at the top of this page is soon going to be a lot lower ... unless the shares take off. | dull gull
10/3/2006 15:14 | Up on broker recommendation as a BUY today - also acquisition news- seems a good stragey to expand in Oz. especially the purchase of a consulting firm with expertise and established business with the mining sector. Personally I'm hoping for an increase in the dividend next time which has been pretty meagre previously | adam7
09/3/2006 17:30 | Looks like it got caught at the top of the long-term upchannel which it's been in for about 2 years now. The reversal was disappointingly sharp but so long as it holds at or around 160 it's maintaining that positive trend. Some profit-taking before results is understandable as RPS has a bit of a history of selling off on results day, even though the headline figures at least are rarely disappointing. 2 years ago the announcement that they were increasing costs triggered a 30% fall, even though profits and sales were in-line with expectations. I hope we will not see a repeat this time around. | bletherer
09/3/2006 15:08 | ben gunn. Yes fall in share price rather severe - whats going on? Any ideas? Last 2 trades both buys @ 177.35 but a large sell late morning 50,000 | adam7
09/3/2006 14:59 | weird........but sticking with it. | ben gunn
07/3/2006 15:53 | Profit taking today ahead of results | adam7
06/3/2006 22:47 | Breakout - buying in anticipation of results next week. | scumdog
06/3/2006 14:07 | Aha - bletherer - good point! | scumdog
06/3/2006 13:26 | Wow - looks like we've finally broken the stubborn resistance at 180. Virtually everything I hold seems to be going up at the moment, which I would like to attribute to my stock-picking skills. Unfortunately though I just found a great quote which seems particularly worth recalling on days like today: "never confuse genius with a bull market". | bletherer
10/2/2006 16:13 | My target price 200p by June 06 | adam7
10/2/2006 12:30 | Looks like we will break through a triple top at 180p very bullish in my opinion. M | milacs
08/2/2006 17:52 | Go to The Motley Fool UK site and look up recommendation of 26.1.06. But as ever dyuo research! | adam7
08/2/2006 17:17 | new to this one and spotted it through sharescope fundamental data mining. looks like a good profitable company? can anyone point me in the diretion of a bit of backround? | weemonkey
02/2/2006 10:49 | Be good to see the share price break the 180p barrier. Good chance of the share price reaching 200p short term? | adam7
24/1/2006 13:05 | Looking good. | scumdog |
