12/3/2020 22:54 | I agree. At some point they'll do a deal. Not that it'll save the markets mind you, but it'll save some of the oil companies | adamb1978
12/3/2020 22:53 | Hi, anyone have any idea how much profit RDS would make if prices stayed at $30 for the year. PS looking at buying in. | royalalbert
12/3/2020 22:49 | Of course opec & Russia could surprise with some announcement. Both countries may want more market share but at what price? Did they invisage this? Is The economic & stock Market carnage in both countries a price worth paying? I bet there are conversations going on behind the scenes... | 32campomar
12/3/2020 22:47 | In my view, markets will turn when the number of new cases of this virus starts decreasing globally, and the Russians and Suadis will eventually agreed to control the oil price better....just when Putin has managed to kill enough US oilers! Therefore looking at this in a year's time, I can help buy feel that its a bargain. And with the dividend as it is, your stake is paid back in 7-8 years' time! | adamb1978
12/3/2020 22:37 | Just the full div will do me for the foreseeable, just as long as the share price stops dropping like a stone. | fardels bear
12/3/2020 22:20 | JPmorgan's guidance today has cut its price target to £17.50 in light of the collapse in the oil price. A 50% gain from here plus dividend. | 32campomar
12/3/2020 22:14 | Shell dividend yield at tonight's close of £11 is 13%. Crazy times & an unbelievable long term opportunity. Especially if it falls further tomorrow & the US futures are already negative with stocks like Apple down another 3% after hours. | 32campomar
12/3/2020 22:13 | Try not to think historic times are a changing abd shell is a different animal my view all this is being overdone Shells EV IS FAR SUPERIOR i do not think you will get a buying opportunity like this for shell and other shares for many years hence | maywillow
12/3/2020 22:06 | I wonder when this "world class investment case" will finally start to rebound? A single-digit pound price is utterly unimaginable, but is within touching distance tomorrow. For someone who asked earlier, the last time Shell was as low as 1100p was February 1999 - but only very briefly. And before that it was 1996. Unbelievable and utterly ludicrous. | fjgooner
12/3/2020 22:02 | FB, health is wealth!, Now more so then ever. And worth keeping in mind for the large majority of people this virus will pose no major concern. It could also potentially weaken. (I'm looking for upsides here). | essentialinvestor
12/3/2020 21:01 | Very true. The death certificate lived under the record deck lid on the hi-fi stack for convenience while I got probate. When the house was burgled two months later they nicked the wheelbarrow to take away the hi-fi stack, still in its cabinet. They got the death certificate as well, and rather worse her engagement ring from the bedroom. But hey, what don't kill you makes you stronger. Truth to tell this was dropping so fast today I bottled out of pulling the trigger. Lost my pot in 2011, again in 2015/6 and now I've no time left to make it back if I lose it all again. | fardels bear
12/3/2020 20:55 | I have turned my whole SIPP to cash over the last month, waiting for the last couple days to occur, which indeed they have, as irrational behaviour always occurs. I have been drip feeding buys of RDSB, VOD and CCH. If it continues south I will follow it down. Sanity will return. | sapper2476
12/3/2020 20:45 | Death certs can be weird things Sometimes they are written to suit the deceased other times the family and sometimes those responsible for those golden final hours and minutes. | my retirement fund
12/3/2020 20:41 | As a reminder, a comment from the Shell CEO in the Annual Report published today: "As we look forward to 2020 and beyond, we must be firm in our belief that our business strategy is sound and our financial foundations strong. We believe Shell’s underlying resilience will stand us in good stead for the challenges to come." | fjgooner
12/3/2020 20:38 | Looks like someone sold 4 million shares at £11. | spittingbarrel
12/3/2020 20:34 | Thanks guys. It was a bad time. Rewarded with new wife. Runs me ragged. :) | fardels bear
12/3/2020 20:28 | All the big caps are trading like penny stocks absolute mental times. But will there be a better opportunity once all blows over to make money our of the good companies? Massive opportunity, feel for small business's though | gooner1886
12/3/2020 20:28 | My partner works in terminal care, difficult job. | essentialinvestor
12/3/2020 20:26 | Wonder when sanity will return to the markets a few more weeks of this will wipe out just about everybodys wealth. If the markets waiting for a vaccine it's got a long wait at least 18 months . | rbonnier
12/3/2020 20:26 | Yes sorry for your loss FB Puts it all into perspective. | supermarky
12/3/2020 20:23 | Dow off 2400 points at the close, so won't be pretty tomorrow. SP500 closed at 2480 so also in bear territory. | eeza
12/3/2020 20:14 | When was last time RDSB closed at £11 ? Is ridiculous game on the stock roulette wheel again ! | tornado12 |
