This Nigel Farage Speech only works if he wins seats, I'm not sure hes been that popular but who knows in todays world, he isnt even running for election, because he knows he wont win.

In his own way, BJ has reacted positively to Farage's speech, in an on-camera, on the hoof comment. Says it underlines the importance of voting CON to get Brexit done.

A small part of NIESR's update:

The UK economy grew by 0.3 per cent in the third quarter of 2019 and is on course to grow by 0.2 per cent in the fourth quarter (figure 1). This would be consistent with GDP growth of 1.2 per cent in 2019, down slightly from 1.4 per cent in 2018.

Odds continue to shorten in f/o CON maj. 1/2, 4/9, even 2/5 atm.
My 6/5 looks good now!

Betting odds changing wildly in favour of CON maj. 1/2, even 2/5. All due to the Farage speech.

Very significant speech from Farage just now, live on 231. Listen to it. Probably why banks are surging up.

NIESR have issued a preliminary tweet on the GDP numbers. At 12:30 they issue their monthly forecast update:

The latest data confirm that the underlying pace of #growth in the UK is slow. The strongest source of private sector demand is household consumption, driven by real wage growth, but this is not sustainable without an unlikely pick-up in #productivity growth. - More at 12.30pm

Not since the days of Michael Foot as leader, has the Labour Party splintered like this. That Tom Watson is now viewed by many in Corbyn's cohort as too far to the right, illustrates graphically the dangers that face the UK if Corbyn gets anywhere near Downing Street.
