Ok but it does validate point. You did not start from nothing in markets. It came from hard work elsewhere prior

II, I started with nothing, I took the family business over that had 2 staff & a 35k overdraft in the early eighties, I worked long ours & built that company up increasing turnover & profits every year except one & sold out last year for a lot of money, I bought an industrial unit a year after taking the business over & used every penny of profit to pay the mortgage & then bought another & did the same again, I now own 15 properties including some houses & about to add 3 more, I have money in the bank & am completely debt free, I also have a large investment portfolio & was lucky enough to buy companies like Next, Arcadia & Asda for between 50p & 56p in the early 80's, biggest mistake was selling Next to soon for £7.50 a share as at one point they were nearly £85.00 a share! I have never made that mistake again & now always buy shares & keep them, I also bought some 1p shares that I later sold for 15p a share, I must admit it was a lot easier to make money in the 80's/90's than it is now but did make a fortune out of the financial crisis & liz truss' short lived empowerment.

Jugears, you are wasting your time. II is just a monologue. Put it on filter and keep scrolling. I gave it the benefit of the doubt for a few weeks, which was a few weeks too long. Just filter and you can save 99% of the reading time on this thread.

My initial words to JUG maybe a bit harsh

it all depends on circumstance at beginning

only funds and the well off can intentionally go in with amounts worth doing, when able to forget that money for 15 years

But yes, im sure it has worked out well. Well, obviously it has really

or to be fair JUG, maybe you had a lot at a young age to begin with. Either way, it worked for you i assume so well done. Whatever 'really' worked for others, can only be commended

Drew it is irrelevant of what anyone thinks, my not being here 70p to 150

They can think I am all in short at 70p if it appeases their minds. But i would be more concerned with the reality of own books, rather than narratives for others, which wont make a dot of difference to said person nor you

Thats all well and good JUBG. Hope you live to 150 whilst at it

In the interim, those with that policy in the city are paid monthly plus bonuses. And no money of theirs at risk. We gat F all for 15 years, plus deduct strong cash purchase power at the end of it

I get it for a pension if commence it in one of the crashes. Not much else

I have never invested in any share in the last 25 years for less than 15 years, I had been looking at RR for 20 years before I bough below a pound, already a nice return & long term I expect a lot more, whether that is 2 years or 10 years doesn't bother me as all my shares are purchased with cash that I don't need & will probably never need, in nearly 50 years of investing I have learnt that patience pays of & even if an share price falls short term I have never been panicked in to selling & why would I as I only invest in good old established companies that have a solid long term future, Oh & always companies that are based in the uk!

Idiots that post as much as you have just appear to be a very bitter looser to all other posters on here, just like a few on the Tw. thread! obviously missed the boat below a pound lol oh lol every site has 1 or 2 or 3 idiots!

A flash whip of the money is in essence, them reading woeful sentiment on the books. The flash is to fill their exits whilst you have no time to exit best price

Awful sign
