I've made my money and I invest full-time - that is why I am here. I like the challenge. Like Buffett I don't need the money.

If you are patriotic you wouldn't want UK PLC to be sold off for a quick percentage. It seems money is capable of buying your future (or that of your children) old boy.

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt in life, negative people are not successful. You are a good example, you could have turned it to your advantage and made a mint. Instead you have stayed shy of ukplc

One thing you are right about, uk cos are being taken over and proves Ukplc is still undervalued.

Both the first two were in Govt at the time, prior to the Referendum, then at the Referendum. And when they lost the referendum, they both quit!
(Because they didn't get their way vote result side)

In other news, decent US engine contract win, and with the hopefully push to these "small modal nuclear reactors" being developed the future looks bright for RR.
Just needs a resurgence in Air travel and we are all set.

Depends on timescales remember. Shorts closing, new buyers and very undervalued. Good to see this happening. 200p is my short term target here.

Rolls-Royce (LSE:RR., ADR:RYCEY) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell 100% of ITP Aero to Bain Capital Private Equity, which is leading a consortium of investors, for approximately EUR1.7 billion. The consortium includes interests to be held by Spanish co-investors SAPA and JB Capital.

I dont see why they wont view it as a positive but you never know with them.
