There's still a lot of freight which is sent by air. HK gets all its M&S food fresh everyday from Australia. If the flight is cancelled, there's no fresh milk!

Quick tests at airports don't have to be perfect. The few false positives can be double checked with a more precise test.

Quick covid saliva testing at Heathrow from today before you leave. Just had a feature on Breakfast tv BBC.Saying by Xmas there will be quick tests at all uk airports on arrival. This should start to open up the Airways again.Let the recovery begin 8-)

The vaccine is now in production, if stage 111 trials fail the whole batch will be destroyed, if it works (it will) we will have achieved accelerated herd immunity by Easter 2021.

Then Covid will not be forgotten yet just like influenza it will take souls every year, mostly over eighties.
