Thanks thegreatgeraldo, appreciate your input. Still great value here assuming the price of oil doesn't collapse.

Cheers

. FPM have a market cap of approaching £600 million and production guidance of 12,000 to 14,000 Boepd albeit with more cash and greater exploration potential but the gap looks very large.

Am I missing something?

...Quite a lot.....Take a look at FPM's dev pipeline..... 35,000boepd on the horizon..... mainly long life assets..... & as you say, plenty of explo on top of that

It looks like tomorrow might yet allow a few more to get in at a lower price but I'm confident this looks good going forwards.

If my read is correct then after the Dyas acquisition production is at 11,000 Boepd. Arran could add 5,000 to 6,000 Boepd giving future total production of 16,000 to 17,000 Boepd. If oil prices hold up then RRE would appear hugely undervalued at current levels. FPM have a market cap of approaching £600 million and production guidance of 12,000 to 14,000 Boepd albeit with more cash and greater exploration potential but the gap looks very large.

Am I missing something?

Graham Neary who writes on Stockopedia with Paul Scott is involved with a new site called Cube Investments. They have the following article on RRE.

The article gives a pretty good overview cflather2000 and acknowledges IGas and possibly the lessons learned from it.

If oil remains strong which looks more likely than not in my opinion then RRE will continue to throwing off lots of cash, even allowing for decommissioning. I agree with homebrewruss that this looks good in the current climate.

RRE looks seriously undervalued and I'm also encouraged by the fact it seems to be well under the radar PI interest wise. I've finished selling some stocks that look susceptible in current market conditions and taken what are for me good sized holdings here in RRE.

I've just heard of this today. Looks very interesting as a prospect. However, majority of the board came from IGas which has been a terrible investment. Can anyone persuade me otherwise?

I've been buying more today. In an uncertain market it's nice to buy companies generating lots of cash

Froop, agreed it's not so easy to find all of this information, at least not in 1 place. I'm fairly new to RRE too.

Arran is worth around 5.2k bopd to RRE but the field has not been developed yet and still await the field development plan which should be out soonish I guess.

Tain has not been developed and is still awaiting an FDP I think. More info here :

Not very familiar in-depth with rre perhaps someone could confirm my understanding.. I believe were waiting on 2 news items that should be any day now? Interim mention Arran that should also due OAG approval now and should add circa 5k boepd and also tain. Has tain any production or pure exploration at mo?So on Arran completion were looking at around 16k production now that dyas total 11k to date?

Oil stocks not really my thing but RRE look a very good play. OK, not the possible fireworks of exploration but great cash flows, growing production and operations in fairly politically safe areas!!!The valuation looks very attractive relative to sector peers so I've picked up a few here this last week.Fingers crossed for a profitable ride for all from here.Dibbs

"Finally, here's one more minnow tip.

Cantor has begun coverage of RockRose Energy, setting a massive target price of 873p. It's currently trading at 500p.

RockRose recently announced the completion of the acquisition of Dyas BV – which adds a portfolio of production assets in the Netherlands.

This is one company that could have got its timing spot on.

It floated in January 2016 and the company wasted no time, completing five deals since its inception.

When it floated oil was at a low of $27 dollar, and fortunately for the firm oil has climbed steadily back to above $80 per barrel."
