"#RRE excellent news ... the Dyas acquisition completes. The biz now officially up to around 11,000boepd. Unrestricted cash also now up to $58.5m (was $56m on 20 Sept) #RockroseEnergy …"

"At #RRE ,the market is substantially discounting today's NET CASH position, the substantial FREE CASH FLOW model (base case production has been conveyed as c10,000boepd to 2025)& the self funded growth model. Restricted cash = DSAs. The £75m Valuation will change #RockRoseEnergy"

"Just done some calcs on #RRE post Dyas, the co is generating approximately it's market cap in cash once you discount decommissioning costs. P/E of about 1. Should be producing >10,000 boepd until at least 2025 even without Arran. Very happy to average up again today."

"The strong performance in the period has been very encouraging, and the transformational impact of the Dyas acquisition will be realised in the second half."

Why didn't the DYAS acquisition close on September 1st?

And why is the management here so coy about giving out information? They are their own worst enemy.

Not many seem to have seen the article in the Mail on Sunday saying that the BoD are looking at taking this private as the AIM market does not value it as it should. Thought we would have seen a bit more buying.....maybe still under the radar. Fireworks later

No probs. This may be of interest too.

“Sources say RockRose Energy’s directors are looking at taking it private after a foreign buyer expressed an interest in it earlier this year.”

"U.K. Nat gas prices above 70p/therm...highest ever for this time of year! Note -the same spot price trend is applicable throughout Europe (inc Ukraine). While many commods have been retreating this one has continued to push higher. Large personal exposure via #SQZ #RPT #RRE etc"

Decommissioning costs in the last set of accounts look to fall under non current liabilities. A huge 250 million dollars, 70 odd million dollars has been set aside to date. They need to generate an awful lot of profit to fill that gap. It's why they are picking up cheap assets, to take on the decommissioning liabilities and try to increase the life of the assets ( sweat them ) to maximize revunue.

Dyas deal closes 1st September.

This looks hugely undervalued to me.

Just looking at RRE, 54m mcap for 11k soon to be 15k boepd seems ludicrously cheap. Does anyone know the breakeven price per boepd?
