I didn't see all this moaning about the minimum wage when the clown Sunak raised it ?We judge that this recommendation for the NLW will achieve the target first set by the Government in 2019 – the NLW will be equal to two-thirds of median hourly pay for those aged 21 and over. In addition, from April 2024 the NLW will be extended to 21 and 22 year olds, fulfilling a recommendation we first made in 2019.This will be the largest ever increase in the minimum wage in cash terms and the first time it has increased by more than £1. The mayor of Río Grande, Martín Perez, expressed his rejection of the visit of the British Minister of the Armed Forces, Luke Pollard, to the Malvinas Islands and denounced the militarization of the South Atlantic. The visit of the British official coincides with the dispatch of an aircraft carrier of the British navy."The military base at Mount Pleasant and the presence of an aircraft carrier on our islands pose a constant threat to the security of our region. There can be no 'productive relationship' as long as the UK persists in this militaristic occupation that violates our territorial integrity," said Martín Perez through his social network X.In this context, Perez denounced the British colonialist position and reaffirmed the will of the Fuegians to maintain a peaceful South Atlantic, respecting Argentine sovereignty and promoting peace in the region.He maintained his rejection of "this new provocation by the British government" and reaffirmed the need for a South Atlantic free of military threats, thus promoting peace in the region. Pollard will visit Puerto Argentino in the next few hours as part of Remembrance Day, a date dedicated to honoring the British armed forces.This visit follows the arrival of the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, a 65,000-ton warship equipped with F35B aircraft. Pollard declared the Islands to be "British territory" and underlined the UK's commitment to the "defence of the islanders," in clear opposition to UN resolutions on Argentine sovereignty.

Don't know if old news but I have just came from a meeting where it was stated that a drilling rig tender is out for the Falkland Islands and indicates that its duration is at least for 1 yr, possibly 2. Is it old news and would an RNS be required ? Or not if Navitas's tender ?
