I pointed this out a long time ago. I can't understand why the UK is not helping with funding through UKEF .In the navitas presentation gideon tadmore mentions Johnson.I haven't a clue what he was saying about him ?Surely not mentioning another scandal lol.Johnson has received two donations totalling £75,000 from millionaire financier Jon Wood, the director of Aedos Fund Management (Bermuda) Ltd. Aedos is the new name of SRM Advisers, the hedge fund Wood founded and moved to the UK from Monaco in 2009.The donations, one made in October 2018 and the second in May this year, included £50,000 to cover "office and staffing costs."Wood blamed the Labour Party for the 2008 financial crisis and donated £500,000 to the Conservatives under David Cameron in 2010 in order to "get the country out of the dreadful mess that the Labour Party left it in."Wood was reportedly nicknamed "Keyser Soze" by his colleagues in the City of London, after the mysterious crime lord in the film "The Usual Suspects." He was also once described by a judge as a "very hard and calculating man" due to his role in a failed litigation against two retail entrepreneurs

Yes but those sanctions mean nothing as Argentina do not have sovereignty over the Falklands. All they can do is say you're not welcome to operate in our country. The way their country is heading it's a high risk place to invest and there are much better opportunities. Navitas understand this.

This has always put companies off ,as it has been mentioned in rockhopper presentations previously. The latest presentation mentions that it is not something that navitas is concerned about .The Argentinian government has dramatically increased the pressure on British companies drilling for oil off the disputed Falkland Islands by passing laws that could impose 15-year jail sentences on their executives.hTTps://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20210708-argentina-moves-to-sanction-uk-israel-companies-for-hydrocarbon-exploration/

I wonder how Navitas feel about the Falklands now they have farmed in to SL and the oil price is over $100. Argentina finance minister has quit. It seems they are heading for huge fiscal problems with their economy and the IMF is furious as they have recently loaned them billions which they are likely never to see again. They have real problems. They have also run out of gas. Can't be a great place to do business at the moment.
