Can anyone explain to me why the rns was negative news .Its going to come to a conclusion early in 2021 surely now and the chances of winning an award are almost certain .Harbour wouldn't have taken it on otherwise.

Well it looks like the €150 million swallows will be with us for early Spring if not before! To all my fans out there I hope you have a great Christmas and Happy New Year! All to play for in 2021, I certainly wouldn't want to be out of Rkh when the updates arrive!......Simples!.....;-)

These awards can't just match the market cap otherwise it would be easy to know the outcome, but it must have some influence on the decision .They now know rockhopper is a basket case and will probably award accordingly lol .

Neil 423s intention wasn't to indicate the size of the award ,otherwise why mention the market cap .Godders spot on .

If they are correct on lse and we get the market cap, if Harbour come out with negative news before the decision this could go to 2p and we might double it .Would they adjust the award to the market cap at that time. If that was the case it would have been a lot higher earlier this year .Brazil won't be far off lol .

The interesting thing is why would the shares trade lower on this news .Anyone buying in now would see that as a positive. Dont make sense to me.

If there are no further questions early jan Feb surely ,then they decide whose won .When thats decided they can add up to 6 months before the amount is given .If we lose in jan Feb we are up sh1t creek without a paddle lol .Then we do hope Auntie Linda cook loves us

So its an award, so we won. I review my share price prediction down to 1p as I expect the award to be 10 shillings less tax and a 10 year old Werthers original from Sams hidden pocket in his corset.

Ombrina Mare arbitration update



Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin, provides the following update on its international arbitration against the Republic of Italy in relation to the Ombrina Mare field.



Under the rules of the arbitration process, a decision (referred to as an "award") is due within 120 days (extendable, at the discretion of the Tribunal, by a further 60 days if required) of the closure of the proceedings.



The Tribunal has provided the following update:



"Deliberations have continued and work on the award is advancing. The Tribunal will revert to the Parties in the early part of 2021 with any final questions it might have or, if none, the declaration of the closure of the proceedings as per ICSID Arbitration Rule 38(1)."



Rockhopper continues to believe it has strong prospects of recovering very significant monetary damages - on the basis of lost profits - as a result of the Republic of Italy's breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty. All costs associated with the arbitration are funded on a non-recourse ("no win - no fee") basis from a specialist arbitration funder.



A further update will be provided in due course.
