17/12/2020 17:31 | All she says is that Sealion has to rank against the other opportunities. Thats neutral imo at the moment. | gozzie2
17/12/2020 17:25 | Well the UK defence secretary told Russia to shut up and go away lol . | gozzie2
17/12/2020 17:14 | "FIG could also say if you want your licence renewed, get on with it" LOL its comedy gold on here 🤣 | the patriotic irishman
17/12/2020 17:06 | You have a point, but they could say that to us too! | chinahere
17/12/2020 16:53 | FIG could also say if you want your licence renewed, get on with it. | another mushroom
17/12/2020 16:29 | Well its not much good to them just left there . | gozzie2
17/12/2020 16:26 | I think you are right Cyan. FIG need to realise that to have any chance of this going ahead it needs to be fiscally very attractive. No tax until Capex is paid back would be a good start! | chinahere
17/12/2020 16:05 | She said that long-cycle multi-billion dollar investments probably won't make the cut. Nor Frontier or places with limited infrastructure. Whether that includes us? | chinahere
17/12/2020 15:37 | It was neutral really they haven't decided . | gozzie2
17/12/2020 15:35 | Its not entirely over though I suppose .Higher oil prices and we have a chance . | gozzie2
17/12/2020 15:35 | A few 100k sales is hardly a sign people are bailing out on the back of this! Oh look, share price heading back up. | another mushroom
17/12/2020 15:33 | This is a wind up right? They are in the oil business and are asking who the buyers are going to be, really? Brent is selling for $50 today. In 5 years time it could be well north of this price. I'm sure they will be lining up to buy SL oil. I think they are playing it down. | another mushroom
17/12/2020 15:12 | Yes, I listened to some of it Cyan. I agree that Linda appeared to be more interested in other purchases. I guess there is a lot out there to buy at a good price that they can see. Interesting to see that they have now started showing the Navitas Farmout and have revised their figures to 40% holding (/37% of their resources). Whether that means anything I don't know. It's all a bit disheartening but I personally won't sell just yet. | chinahere

17/12/2020 15:00 | Repeat. Read my comments of 8/Dec. (A) Can someone explain why The "Go" number will be $55-$65 for Premier NewCo ??? (Must be much higher than $55-$65 to meet required return targets) (B) 1. Premier NewCo will have a HIGHER weighted average cost of capital versus Premier OldCo, 2. Chrysaor (PE money) will have a HIGHER REQUIRED PROJECT RETURN target. 3. Throw in Poorly negotiated super pricey LoI vendor contracts (ex Catcher). 4. Money may be plenty with Chrysaor, but at a higher cost of capital. ### THEY WILL NOT START THE PROJECT EVEN AT $65 OIL. ### (C) hxxps://www.chrysaor 01 Nov 2017 $60+ Brent. Chrysaor Buys Shell assets. Use of capital -> Acquisition of Operated/Non-Operate When Brent heads back to $60+ again (Citi said next year?) Chrysaor will repeat those same trades ... buying from Majors in the North Sea. #### FORGET SEA LION GETTING SANCTIONED / FID by Premier NewCo ### | crackcock12

17/12/2020 14:56 | Ah well its gone then .Atb I'm moving on .Merry Xmas. | gozzie2
17/12/2020 14:52 | Not one comment on the chrysaor conference call today. Surely others here listened? Not reassured at all by comments on SEALION . Speaking in general about the whole market in oil assets; this general line said it all for me; "Who are the buyers going to be?" Tells me what I knew already; even IF they were minded to divest; SL is unsaleable. They are stuck with it and the comments did not enthuse me . The other critical line from Linda was that SEALION and its economics is " going to have to rank against the other opportunities we see" They are stuck with SL on the books. Only the FIG can move the dial now. The FIG needs to smell the coffee and offer new incentives . The share sales subsequent to the call suggests I am not the only one who was unimpressed. | cyan
17/12/2020 14:51 | Wheels on fire! Burning up the road!! Mr mannering, these variants are catching up! Pike old Kent road | trop2
