latics at the end of the day buying shares is always a gamble no matter what the company is and as you have just said only bet what you can afford. Can't agree more !!!!!

I don’t disagree that with this could well fly if managed correctly with an experienced oilman as CEO.

My point is that we don’t have that and on past evidence ( now 7p ) all we are doing is contributing to Sam mortgage and pension fund. I’m not prepared to do that or even consider trading RKH.

You are correct that now is certainly not the time to invest long term in an oil company on AIM.

RKH is not even a binary bet with Sam at the helm. If the odds were 50/50 sure a small punt but who in thei right mind would bet millions of £ on 100/1 ?

Bet what you won’t miss

I defend myself !!!!! I'm in this share now and I will add more to my position when the time is right which I do feel will be within the next few months.
Gobble, if you truly are a real person ? And you want my advice, wait until the next positive rns and then sell the lot on the spike.
Go into something else if you're looking long term and prices stay the same i would say carnival or if you want oil then tullow imo.
Both stocks will easily treble in value from where they are now and both will pay dividends again in the future

latics yes more trader than invester and I do invest but certainly wouldn't invest long term in an oil company on aim,
Rockhopper I have traded in the past and made good money on it, I also think 7p is a massive opportunity to make at least 400% over what I'm hoping is a short period meaning no more than 6 months.
I do believe sealion will eventually get the go ahead !!!!!
At the minute there are some amazing shares out there with real profit potential. And I do agree with nigoil this share could go anywhere anytime it could fly !!!!!
