Good old Nicholas: continued confidence! That's a very significant holding!

I think that their business model is fluid and dependent on the next drill results. Ideally the results will be good and they'll pick up a jv partner. But I really think that they need to update their jorc after the next drill.
As for cash, they have money in the bank, and outstanding warrants at 1p and options at 2p. The question is does the bod and major shareholders want to dilute their holdings? (as they have 20% of the company between them).
Now that the results are out of the way I expect more news this week.

does anybody have any views on the results ?

I notice that although the operating loss has gone down the overall loss per share has gone from 0.01p to 0.14p

I have still to get to grips with this outfit and do my due diligence. I am unclear at present as to how they intend to generate profit. are they wanting to sell on JORC'd discoveries, perhaps retaining a free royalty on subsequent production ? or are they looking to get into mine development ?

their strategy statement is a bit vague: "The Company shall be run as a commercially-minded company, seeking to return an increase on investment capital to shareholders. Proven methods of raising capital through recognised means available to publicly-listed companies will be relied on to fund exploration efforts and administrative costs." could apply to almost ANY commercial company.

some years ago I visited that area of Queensland, and visited an abandoned gold village as well as Charters Towers (The World) which for a while was one of the wealthiest towns in the world. I am aware that although the area had become economic in the early 20th century there has been some revival of gold exploration in that area during the last 10-20 years.

so they are in a potentially good area, hence my interest. my present concern is how much additional cash are they going to need to raise over the next 2 years ?

i seem to be in a minority of 1 here for classical music but what the hell - it is in the header. Have a listen to this - may be a bit modern but the arpeggio section from 2m 55s is well worth waiting for. The whole movement is sublime.

The amazingly talented Antoine Baril puts out another compilation, this time it's Yes.
For those that haven't come across him check out his Genesis and Rush compilations, the man is a genius.

No but there was no great expectation really it's more of a sideshow which may turn out to be good who knows...but the main event is Plateau and they're back on site this week and drilling will be starting soon. May could be interesting.
