I added too. Premature since it will surely get to 4500 again. My predictions are always right if it disadvantages me. So yes I was stupid to buy today....

Exactly. RIO/RTZ are a very established company going back donkey's years.
They dig stuff out of the ground which will always be wanted.

With the evolution of EVs only just starting is real volume terms, then I see RIO as a great long term investment for both capital and dividends. I started investing recently based on this strategy and expect the next several years to be very profitable. Lithium, copper, Nickel... etc are key and growing fast in these, are the future growth streams. There will be sure a shortage of battery metals even before 2030.. GLA

It always strikes me as odd when the recorded purchase volume is higher than the sell volume but the share price goes down!

I thought the results were very good considering Aluminium, copper and other comms have fell in price from last year, I see the Iron ore was very strong this year with the ramp up in Australia. IMO RIO are in a good position for the future.

I sold 50% of my holding yesterday as its usually buy on rumour sell on news of which happened today, I'm holding the other 50% for £56.30 and set a limit to buy yesterdays sell at £49.93, either way it goes I'm basically not bothered.

I'm still holding heavy in AAL also of which is extremely under valued at present IMO.

RIO well positioned for a promising future and IMO well worth buying at these levels in high 40's and low 50's
