05/3/2019 11:36 | Government Petition to Ban shorting of London AIM stocks. The AIM stock market is where smaller companies list their shares rather than using the prohibitively expensive main London Stock Market. This is an important market for the growth of smaller UK companies. In challenging times, shorters seek to borrow the company's shares from a holder for a consideration and to buy them at a later date. They immediately sell these shares which, due to the relative illiquid market, sends the price much lower and hence the shorters can buy them at that lower price - pocketing the difference. The only beneficiaries are the shorters and the market makers with the losers being the reputable company and it's bona fide investors. | wattene

01/3/2019 07:45 | Ok, am I being a bit simple, what's with the dividend, interim was saying 25p and final saying 4p for a total of 6.5p. Has someone put a decimal point in the wrong place?? Got two conflicting financial reports | marksie2
17/1/2019 12:11 | I do love this "lack of supply were blamed" normal economics would have more supply lower prices, not in housing... | ukgeorge
17/1/2019 12:10 | UK – Property market sentiment is at worst in two decades • On a separate note, the RICS survey shows UK property market sentiment is at worst in two decades with real estate agents reporting falling prices. • Brexit uncertainty and lack of supply were blamed for the latest set of weak data, RICS reported. • Additionally, demand for home loans dropped “significantly | ukgeorge
09/1/2019 09:48 | Roll on feb 28th an opening some shorts on this. Great company but over priced imo. | ukgeorge
04/1/2019 09:34 | average over last 5 days is 432 so they can pay up to 454p. Purely guessing but I reckon the max they are willing to pay will be about 470p | ukgeorge
04/1/2019 09:29 | No the share buyback continues. 47 trading days to spend £20M = £425k per day £460k on 2nd and 3rd, buying 105k shares each day It would be great to know what the "pre-set parameters" are ie the high price they will pay. Tempted to set a spread sheet up to work this all out. As with this "Chapter 12 of the Listing Rules which requires the maximum price paid to be limited to no more than 105 per cent of the average middle market closing price of the Company's shares for the 5 dealing days preceding the date of purchase" We can work out the most they can pay on a given day. | ukgeorge

21/11/2018 09:57 | Thank you. | cascudi
21/11/2018 09:07 | Cascudi...there is currently a land grab going on in this sector. Rightmove are currently trying to hike up prices at a time when agents are feeling the pinch from all angles. Stories of many unhappy agents who are dropping down to the basic package. Trouble ahead in my view. | superslickrick10
21/11/2018 08:28 | 13% dividend yield at this price, no debt... a part of brexit... what am i missing about this company if i am looking long term? | cascudi
20/11/2018 08:35 | well, I havec used an online agent in last 2 sales and saved heaps of money and they do a better job than high street agents . | arja
31/10/2018 23:09 | Volumes of transactions at a post war low.Estate agency commissions decimated by idiotic pricing from so-called "hybrid" agents charging less than the cost of a M+S sandwich to sell a home.Result: agents going bust all over the place with MANY more to follow.Rmv model charges agents on a per office basis.Less offices means less revenue-and those that survive will be seeking to keep costs to a minimum and declining Rmv's efforts to up-sell "bells and whistles" products.Rmv has been the most successful property portal in the world, has a phenomenal brand, makes near obscene profit margins but now has a horribly complacent board who's only strategy seems to be to buy back shares and in my opinion now is a raging SELL. | tarrant777
04/10/2018 10:58 | Divi paid out today on the same day that Onthemarket announce another long term big(50+ branch) sign up..Andrews. The share price is on the basis of estate agents "Good will" to continue to pay an average of +£1250 per branch per month when they can pay 5 times less with either onthemarket or Zoopla. Expect further downgrades. | superslickrick10
27/9/2018 09:34 | This is still way over priced. | superslickrick10 |
