10/5/2011 11:18 | Hi P3dr036, Nice to hear from you again and glad you are doing well. Most shares seem to have been a bit of a roller coaster recently. I have been having a very close eye on rrr, if they were to drop quite a bit i might be tempted for a few. RRL are out of my range. My short term interests are still mta and pci, mta which hopefully can increase production from both its currently producing wells a12 and a13 then with a hopefull increase in its share price to 4.5 5p min then i`m out. Looking to invest all short term in to pci which recently signed a F.I deal with ENEL of Italy, Europes 2nd biggest utility. A possible 181million will be paid for just over 18% of its Isarene GAS CONDENSATE discovery. Estimates are for 6tcf , a further 18% will be farmed out later in the year. PCI also have some very very interesting Italian Oil plays, one known to contain oil,(Elsa)awaiting drliing ban and the other is Rosavenda where its thought 270 MBO are, Pci are in partnership for this to. If all the above happens BIG IF then i`ll be looking to spread interests elsewhere and maybe rrr rrl and a couple of others. All down to timing and so far its been terrible with both my stockes expecting all this news last year!!who knows what is ahead but wish you the best with your investments to. Regards Offerman | offerman
10/5/2011 10:18 | Offerman - I started buying into Red Rock RRR in April last year. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster having reached 16p at one time and it's now sitting at 8p. At this price it might be looking attractive to someone buying in. While I'm not as enthusiastic as I was, I've made some excellent profits on the way and still have a reasonable holding. RRL is underpinned by a holding in Jupiter Mines, Regency Mines and a few other mine. They have recently teamed up with T1ps.com's Gold Fund both taking a slice of Ascot Mining [ASMP]. I expect to hold my remaining RRR shares for a while yet and I regard RRR as worth a good look. Hope all is well with you. regards P3dr036 | p3dr036
10/5/2011 06:27 | Hi Peter , yes I noticed these are on the way back, I expect they will rise instantly on relisting before easing back until news.ight take a small stake if one of my other shares does well short term. | offerman

07/4/2011 16:09 | Thank you Al. Forbidden Technologies - sounds a bit naughty! Are you old enough for this one??? [LOL] Here's couple of a little tit[!] bits from their website ====== Wed 6th Apr, 2011 Recent coverage Stockopedia reports on Forbidden's full year results, noting: "Overall sales increased by 33% to £0.4m ... Cash in the bank at the end of 2010 stood at £1m". Stockopedia also reports progress with Forbidden's growth plans. ====== Analyst report [ GECR's analysis of Forbidden's 2010 results says: "Forbidden has left the mainstream video editing software application groups in the technology equivalent of the 'Middle Ages'. Moreover, this technological edge has prompted global scale Systems Integrators to enter into partnership with Forbidden – two agreements were signed in 2010, another last January". It continues: "Systems Integrators are critical to the company's ambitions to become a leading global video editing player". ======== A bit techie for me - I'm a resources man at present. But good luck with it! I'll keep an eye out. It closed at 30p tonight Peter | p3dr036
03/4/2011 18:00 | Offerman , I don't normally recommend shares but QFI (Quadrise Fuels Int.) is worth taking a look at. Currently to buy @ 5.5p, they have just had a successful open shareholder offer and placing. They are Emulsion fuel suppliers and looking to break into the market, have been listed for 5 plus years, and are on the verge of signing their first deals late 2011 early 2012. They have just completed a one year trial with Maersk for the supply of MSAR Bunker Fuel (Multiphase Superfine Atomic Residue) to be used as a replacement fuel for Bunker Fuel which would be less costly and more emission friendly than base Bunker fuel, it also is cost beneficial to the refiners as well by allowing them a greater percentage of distillates from the processing of each barrel of oil. A royalty agreement has already been negotiated between the two companies earlier this year in anticipation of proven trials and subsequent supplies. The Bunker fuel market is approx 150-170 Million Tons per year and has been trading at approx $650-700 per metric ton, Maersks share of this market is approx 10-12 Million Tons per annum, so there is enormous potential for growth. The royalty agreement also includes third parties and holders are in anticipation of news in the very near future. QFI have also completed 6 months of a one year trial with PowerSeraya of Singapore for the supply of MSAR HFO to their power generating facilities. There are possibilities for initial commercial use of 1.8 million tons p.a. of MSAR Fuel. They also have other trial projects lined up with National Departments in Mexico and Saudi Arabia which are well advanced and news expected by late 2011 early 2012. Their associated Co. in Canada is also spinning out separate compamies in different fields, including Steam raising (Enhanced Oil Recovery) in depleting oil fields around Alberta area, Canada. The production at a refinery and subsequent firing of MSAR HO in a Power generating station has already been tried and proven in Lithuania in a working environment. Once they sign that first contract I feel their growth could be enormous. 3i board is well worth a read. AIMHO, please DYOR. | radarray
03/4/2011 17:26 | Hello Rifters! ORE is where a few of the old crowd have found their new home. very interesting prospect at a major old mine site (gold+). Ex- Medavinci but reborn. the website is not up to much but the board will lead you to the relevant info. almost doubled last week but a greatly undervalued asset still, IMO. 03/4/2011 17:13 | offerman, try EUA for an out and out gamble... but beware, high risk! background, PGM explorer in Russia waiting for production license from the authorities, could be mining by the summer, but have been waiting ages and ages. | excellance
03/4/2011 16:36 | Someone a while back recommended rrr rrl when they were 2p ish, I think it was lgw but can't remember. Can you recommend any shares that are around .02p all the way up to 3p that could potentially explode. Sounding desperate, that's because I am after my 2investments have been outperformed by most other shares in the last 6months.I would like o&g shares if poss. | offerman

31/1/2011 13:48 | I'm at about 0.5% of MVC now, peter. had a nasty tax bill - hadn't realised the 50% was in force last year, so had to sell 2M last week.. Hardly worth working when they just give it away to cynical bankers. May top up if the price looks right at MVC. There shouild be news fairly soon. freedosh | freedosh
31/1/2011 12:48 | Freedosh Thanks for the MVC Tip I managed to pick some up at 0.86. Are you aiming to hold your usual 1% of co? | petercrosby

26/1/2011 13:21 | AIM shares may be put into an ISA only if the shares are also tradfed on a RECOGNISED overseas stock exchange. If the HMRC recognise the Bahamas Stock Exchange then OK. I suspect that it is not but could be wrong. Suggest you check on the HMRC.gov website [Later - I was wrong!!] I did and it lists the Bahamas International Securities Exchange (also known as BISX) 19-Apr-10 Securities listed on the entire BISX meet 'listed on a Recognised Stock Exchange' So you may be OK. Check with your Broker or on line dealer. If they say "No" then point them in the direction of the HMRC. Good luck! | p3dr036
25/1/2011 20:10 | Hello oot there ! Can someone help,I was thinking of cashing in my BPC shares from my shares portfolio & sticking them in an ISA to avoid the CGT at a later date. I have been told two different stories on this subject,(1)I cannot as they are an AIM share,(2)I can because they are traded on more than one stock exchange ie:London & Bahamas. I know I can put them in a SIPP, but I already draw a pension from an S/L SIPP which I might also add is performing very badly at present. Thanks in advance, if anyone would like to reply. Good luck on the shares scene to all ex.Rifters, I hope 2011 is a good one ! Bengee | bengee
