04/1/2011 11:27 | Hi Offerman not at the £Mill yet but hoping 2011 will get me there. Still in BZT (nice move up 24% today) and also RRR. I have held MTA for years and lost out on the warrants. GL all | lgw
29/12/2010 19:09 | Take a look at gold investment via MVC The story is well explained on the bb. peeps are coming on board at a pace now but a long long way still to go IMO DYOR freedosh to the RAFTers | freedosh
29/12/2010 18:35 | Hi offerman iam an ex rifter, also in mta, my biggest holding is pgd made a nice sum on them but held for 5 years also into sle and rgm glad things are looking up for you regards | 2bolty
29/12/2010 17:22 | LGW, well done on your superb tip. You do pick them very well and they rise lots to.Do chose rrr on here at 2.5p i think it was. You MUST be a multi millionaire by now with the rises on rrr and bzt plus others you did well on. Congrats to you if you are and happy new year. Things have improved for me to although not as good as you yet. I lost 160K£ of my profits from their highest point when the BP spill happened, took me right down to below 90K£, am please to say though that today i got back above the 200k mark thanks to mta. I think MTA and PCI are company makers this year for me and am hoping this year does better than last for me, then i can start helping others around me who could do with it. Hope all ex rifters are doing well and wish you all Health Happiness and Wealth in that order for 2011. Offerman | offerman
29/12/2010 14:13 | Well done, Did anyone pick up on my BZT tip at 26p? 62p now but still good value imo but wait for a dip. I am still holding BZT but it does tend to spike up and down a few %. | lgw
24/12/2010 10:04 | Merry Xmas and a Happy & Prosperous 2011. | lgw
26/11/2010 09:47 | Hi B.D,Hope you`re keeping well. De Ja Vue with png, bu more value and prospects no doubt | offerman
26/11/2010 09:24 | LGW, the RRR/RGM situation just keeps unfolding. The Oracle and Ascot Mining deals look very promissing. I'd completely managed to miss the Cue Resources info and read up on that last night. Gold, Uranium, Copper, Nickel and now coal. Err, as they say its a no brainer. And we have a company thats back in the dear old PNG!!! | bigdog5
26/11/2010 09:13 | Thor also has done well Hyper although I am not in there yet! Offerman I also have MTA and have held for years through thick and thin. I am also holding all my rrr and gkp . I received this from RRR this morning. "Dear Colleagues, We have been very busy, and still are (we hope productively so), and so we have probably failed to pass on some matters of interest. Our investment in Ascot Mining plc has absorbed some time, as we organise a visit and follow up with research. We have someone on the ground there now. As is often the way with a good investment, the more we look, the more we like it, at research level, but we are waiting until our visit is concluded before becoming (possibly) enthusiastic. I was interviewed by Sharecrazy see link below and said as much as can be said at this stage: Other gold stories..........are part of our operations and we will have to announce in RNS announcements to AIM! So saying nothing here does not mean there is nothing to say. At our associates, Resource Star Ltd (ASX: RSL), the price has consolidated after recent gains, even after excellent rare earth (HREE) and niobium results reported from Machinga by our joint venture partner. Uranium continues its sharp recovery and drilling continues in the Northern Territory So we remain quietly confident of progress: Meanwhile Jupiter Mines Ltd (ASX:JMS) has its first broker research report issued: Others are expected. This embryonic blue chip is edging ever nearer the $1bn capitalisation mark, and as the two main assets are of first-rate quality and the management and backing is pretty good too, this seems quite reasonable. Attracting mainstream brokerage following, of which this is further evidence, is an important development in the coming of age of Jupiter. And Cue Resources (TSX-V:CUE) has seen a price breakout, and is now well above our investment prices. Again, uranium is the story: Andrew Bell Red Rock Resources plc 115 Eastbourne Mews London W2 6LQ Tel: +44(0)2070995840 Fax: +44(0)2070995841 Regd Office: 55 Gower Street London WC1E 6HQ Incorporated in England and Wales Co. 19/11/2010 12:30 | Mta, might return a nice percentage rise. A13 expected sidetrack result shortly, if they can get more than 200bopd then this will help the s.p, we are waiting for a12 as the rig was diverted to bp, if p.l is issued we could be looking at 100% rise from current levels. RRR and many others ARE in different league , but mta might be quite good percentage wise. I do accept many other ops out there as recently pointed out by LGW and others. PCI expecting farm out by year end and have starting appraising there successful drills of last year, chief exec as said 14tcf possible with recoverable 50% min, he expects more than this and will announce next year, February. They have vast amounts of condensate which is far more highly valued than gas. | offerman
19/11/2010 10:49 | Interesting Inspirational but when does Oracle intend to list. | lgw
18/11/2010 20:50 | Rift Oil (Gas) was a great company over the years and was sold cheaply however much appreciated for sharing (you all know who you are) O/T Inspirational Investing Ideas has a stake in Oracle Coalfields. View the "Investing Portfolio" for more details." | inspirational
18/11/2010 20:28 | RRR were ignored for years, I was able to buy some at less than 1.5p but got most at 2p, the important thing is to get in while they are being ignored> | lgw
18/11/2010 19:40 | LGW been looking at them of late and the surprise to me is there appears little interest in them. Now bearing in mind the potential value put on them I find that weird. XEL continues to xcite due to them contracting for a production rig plus there are rumours of interest in them re a takeaway. I would imagine a real good flow test could take them through £4/£5. If predators are gathering and they have 250m recoverable we must be talkin £8 plus. | bigdog5
18/11/2010 19:10 | Bigdog if you are about... after hours rns on BZT pointing to more news and poss divestment of Phillipine asset. | lgw
18/11/2010 10:44 | Hi Formentera, complete opposite for me. After rift, did ok with gkp and mta(but didn`t sell at 6p!) Since then all down hill i`m afraid. Should of got in to rrr and rgm. LGW mentioned these but i messed up big time. Still well in profit but could of been so much more i.e over 1 million, then i could of helped people out around me who need it. | offerman
17/11/2010 22:14 | Hi Offerman, Long time since Rift days. Went from Rift to RRR and RGM, in from day one on both and still holding. Tonight been looking at GGP and might have a punt tomorrow as Andrew Bell is the non exec chairman and he has done brilliant at RRR and RGM. Good hunting. | formentera
12/11/2010 15:07 | Thanks Peter. | offerman
12/11/2010 15:06 | A good thread on ADVFN relating to gold is the thread started by "chipperfrd" The link is and the EPIC code used is GOLD. This is a very good information source covering many [if not most] of the small cap gold miners with plenty of comparison information. There are many knowledgeable posters on there. This thread is very much worth a visit before making a final decision whether or not to invest in a particular share. Peter | p3dr036 |
