First impressions I was thinking awful . Now I'm more positive, presuming the 1.7 mill ish is a very large slug of pre ipo early phase funding then it could be on hugely favourable terms.
A lot will be unravelled when we find out what company it is, some of them companies on there have very large rises . In fact dare I say more so than aim .

It may be grow on aquis & move to aim/ main market in time .

Unless my maths are wrong, approx 500 million shares & £1.7 million in cash equates to approx 0.35p per share? That would mean every holder is under water, some hugely, with this.

Ridgecrest, an AIM Rule 15 cash shell, is holding its Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") today at 2.30 p.m. at the offices of Allenby Capital Limited. At the AGM, Rob Thesiger, Chairman of the Company, will make the following statement.......


...... As at today, the Company has approximately GBP1.7 million of cash. Currently, the Company is in advanced discussions to invest a significant proportion of its cash resources in a business within the hospitality sector; and term sheets are being prepared. If this transaction proceeds the Board expects the hospitality business to seek a listing on the Access segment of the AQSE Growth Market in 2022 and it is currently intended that Ridgecrest's investment will be distributed to shareholders on a pro rata basis. Discussions are at a preliminary stage and there can be no guarantee that a transaction will proceed.

As it will not be possible for Ridgecrest to undertake and conclude a reverse takeover within 12 months of the Company becoming an AIM Cash Shell on 5 January 2021, admission of Ridgecrest's shares to trading on AIM is expected to be cancelled at the beginning of January 2022 (before any investment in the hospitality business can be concluded).

The board will continue to keep shareholders abreast of progress on the proposed transaction."

Has Normand lost the touch , vela a dog this nearly 12 months in one failed rto and now delisting I suspect.

Never again will I listen to hype and get locked in .

Could be months before we get our money back , total silence it seems

They are asking permission to be able print upto 50% more shares.

The £22,556.24 is just the nominal value of 50% of the shares. Not to be confused with market value.

With the wait since last rns im hoping they have been working on something . Another rto would be nice .

Still disappointed by the BA collapse id be happy with a few p and return to trading allowing us access to frozen funds .

The Board of Ridgecrest has concluded that it is in the Company's shareholders' best interests to pursue an alternative transaction. The Board hope to be able to make a further announcement regarding an alternative transaction in the near future.

I was dissapointed when we got the RNS but better no deal than a disastrous deal. We all knew this was high risk -- no point crying over it as its not over yet, otherwise a lot of people will lose a lot more money than we will !
