03/11/2016 21:32 | Criteo certainly seem to be unstoppable And for a bunch of Frenchies, the Yanks don't even seem to mind them too much, so they must be playing it reasonably straight, what can you really say to that but 'Respect' Somehow they have found the magic formula, they say they have had a 90% retention over 20 quarters in a row, presumably referring to customers and repeat business. 03/11/2016 14:37 | The Brexit politicians argued that all decisions affecting the U.K. should be determined by Parliament, and it looks like the Law Lords gave them their wish. 03/11/2016 14:13 | The MPs voted 6 to 1 for a referendum to give the general public a vote on in or out of the EU then they get a result they don't like and let's change the rules again, the debate and the sovereignty bit was all done before the referendum and the outcome of that vote by MPs was put to the people. All this is gonna do is going to make the rise of the right-wing politics inevitable and will make this country a lot less tolerant and see probably the end of the Labour Party seeing most of their supporters voted out and only the mad loony left in London and a few Metropolitan cities voted to stay. | football | |
03/11/2016 14:02 | Off-topic, but isn't this what the "sovereignty" brigade was campaigning for, the right of the elected UK parliament and independent UK judges to make and interpret UK law? Seems to me that this case is doing most of us a favour by clarifying how the brexit process needs to work before some headstrong politician goes and gets it wrong and completely compromises the country's negotiating position. "In a landmark verdict, three of the UK's most senior judges said the government is legally required to pass an act of parliament before initiating Britain's formal departure from the European Union.
