Thanks for the link Alchemy. I've thought the recent rise has been odd given the recent trading update.

According to Stocko EPS estimates have been significantly after the last TU. For 2016 EPS is forecast to be 29.3p (was 35p before the recent PW), and for 2017 EPS is projected to be 30p (down from 37p before the recent PW). I take the point that the share price fell to reflect this, but the recent rise has been sudden.

they went through the mkt yesterday, and did not affect the price at all, as it rose steadily in a straight line all day, so like you say,, "backgound stuff" ;O)
