10/11/2021 13:16 | they are investing in better food quality as in the last trading statement 'Investment in food quality: Our focus has been on improving food quality with new menus launched across all of our brands in May. Customer feedback has been very positive, in particular the new and improved dishes added to the Frankie & Benny's menu have been very well received' hopefully the concessions business should be performing better now that travelling is re-opening up again and there are less onerous testing requirements. 08/11/2021 21:50 | Banging on the door of the '80s... just like some of their restaurants :-) | mashman
08/11/2021 07:39 | this was posted by Beachbum1978 on the lse board in relation to another company (CARD) but relevant to RTN and others. 'Minor point, but I work in Hotels, and for the last 4 months especially, and for at least the next year ahead, they are on Covid cancellations catch up with weddings especially, but now Xmas parties, birthday celebrations etc etc. They are absolutely rammed to the brim with bookings, running 2 weddings a day, at weekends, and also lots more mid week weddings you wouldn’t normally get. Only reason I mention it is the shear amount of cards and dressings I’ve seen, means they have doubled.' | farrugia
07/11/2021 17:24 | JakNife I have posted over there. I bought some on Friday (pun intended but I really did ) | mashman
07/11/2021 17:04 | To concentrate on my spelling and not respond to my point is a bit dim Let’s just see what the price does. I will bet you a thousand pounds it goes below 80, are you on? | mashman
07/11/2021 16:59 | Spelling is not my strong point but the restaurant trade is. You have posted nothing of any use and just picked up irrelevant points to make your argument. The answer to sit e shutting. If a unit has no staff especially chefs they shut because they dip below their own H&S rules. They have also shut permanently 200 units since the pandemic started in order to keep the books balanced “TRG had been burning through £5.5 million a month in lockdown and has slashed 3000 jobs and permanently closed over 200 sites since the pandemic hit.” | mashman
07/11/2021 11:51 | “I appreciate your a bull but been offensive because I have a different opinion just shows how blinkered you are” “Been Offensive”? Think you mean “being” “ Your understanding how money works in the trade is non existant.” The irony is hilarious, “existant̶ Face it, you haven’t got a clue, move on and take your lies and illiteracy with you. | adobbing
07/11/2021 11:42 | mashman1 Nov '21 - 23:08 - 2912 of 2929 0 0 1 The business rate tax relief amounts to diddly squat unfortunately and a lack of chefs is forcing sites to shut shop. Inflation and belt-tightening and an uncertain Christmas looming. The only way is down imo Still waiting for an answer on which sites have been forced to “shut shop”? | adobbing
07/11/2021 10:46 | I know it’s a month old but it still applies.. Read it if you want to understand a bit more | mashman
07/11/2021 10:31 | Why don’t you cough up a grand and read it for yourself? You should be grateful that I shared. Your understanding how money works in the trade is non existant. You can have full restaurant and still have financial problems. Calling me a fool is the pot calling the kettle black | mashman
07/11/2021 10:19 | #2882 was a direct quote from mca-insite you fool, not written by me. You should be grateful that I share information from the trade commentator. I appreciate your a bull but been offensive because I have a different opinion just shows how blinkered you are | mashman
07/11/2021 00:51 | Thanks but no thanks, I have no need for your “tips” Any credibility you had was blown way before your typically moronic post #2882. Your ignorance of the company that you desperately want to appear to be an expert on, is startling. You haven’t got a clue and it’s blatantly obvious! Case in point; “Customers coming through the door means diddly squat at the moment.” Why don’t you filter yourself and save yourself further embarrassment? | adobbing
06/11/2021 21:41 | adobbing you are very aggressive and very slow to grasp what is in front of you RTN is bleeding out. I have been clear about my agenda I want to buy back in. It's in my portfolio so I trade it. When I first posted 6 Oct the share price was 96.4. On Friday it tried to crash 80p but bounced with the whole sector because of Pfizer, and then retraced while the rest of the sector stayed up. A tip about director speak, look for the subtle hints. They are not going to blurt out bad news but will ease it out gently. Customers coming through the door means diddly squat at the moment. It,s about how the chiefs run their money. If it breaks 80 then its pain all the way to 60. Sorry | mashman
06/11/2021 14:45 | More and more BS and unfounded rumours. You have no supporting evidence for any of the unfounded rumours and BS you are posting. “If Heier said it wasn't yet severe he probably means "It's heading that way".” No he doesn’t and you have no reason to suggest he does, other than your own transparent agenda. | adobbing
05/11/2021 22:25 | If Heier said it wasn't yet severe he probably means "It's heading that way". | mashman
05/11/2021 21:46 | I'm calling circa 50p by spring as they fight to cut heating bills | mashman
05/11/2021 10:39 | Yep, as expected he has nothing to support his statement that a lack of chefs was “forcing sites to shut shop”. No sites are being forced to shut, it’s complete BS and untrue, like most of his posts. The link he posted to an article from several months ago, makes no reference to sites being forced to close. It mentions that RTN are struggling to find chefs and only at 20% of sites, as was/is the rest of the industry and probably more so than RTN. It does not say that RTN are having to close sites, they are not. Indeed quite the contrary, they are opening new sites! Perhaps he should have quoted from this article, presumably based on the same interview; “ Though Heier said the chain had not fallen into a position where staff and product shortages were severe” | adobbing
05/11/2021 08:27 | mashman please save me the drama and stop de-ramping - that article is dated 6th Sept. I know you want it down to get a better entry! | farrugia
04/11/2021 21:50 | This now has 60p written all over it | mashman
04/11/2021 21:49 | adobbing, when a site has no brigade leader it's impossible to function so they either shut or stop taking customers. I've read somewhere that the lead chef recently left, when I find the link I'll post it up | mashman
04/11/2021 08:07 | Which sites are you referring to when you say “ forcing sites to shut shop” ? | adobbing |
