I only get up at 1am occasionally if I think there is an opportunity or seems to be and of course on wednesday night when I tried to hedge on RSG but IG would not allow shorts dam them ! ( smile ) . I would like to return home to OZ but will wait until
safer to travel with covid 19 still with us . Much easier to trade UK and OZ markets there without needing to miss a bit of sleep as you know . good luck to you too with your RSG and other investments .

RSG did well as you know to recover to 213.5 after hitting 206.5 and that would have been a nice trade for someone . missed it but nervous of re-entering after my big loss ! ( smile )

I said a gold stock and I did short EVN but only made about $200 and hoping for much more- strangely gold stocks recovered well after early dip . What I said was that I can not short RSG online but can short others . Can not short MML either dogwalker

gold hit after fed minutes and it will mean gold producer share prioes in OZ will fall tonight although RSG might not be affected by that after wednesday's steep fall. Hopen i can get up at 1am to short a gold stock in auction but must watch the big soccer match tonight !

wow , I missed that news and thought it came out in aussie time but noticed a fast 2p dip here and did not realise the reason for it or would have sold in panic . But you make a good point although it was painful watching it fall in OZ after I got up at 1am still not knowing about Mali - VERY foolish of me ! ( smile ) . Hope it bounces in OZ for you and I might just get up at 1am and monitor it for a while ,

On the other hand, arja, having the dual listing the way it is here gave us the chance ahead of Australia to take action & sell yesterday when the news first broke. I dithered....damn etc.
We should have sold yesterday with our advantage. Hummingbird showed us the way .

how wrong I was with Mali news and I took a big hit . Always risky holding a dual listed stock as captive prisoner until UK market opens . Tried to short RSG in OZ at 126 but IG would not let me and it fell to 111 at close after hitting 108. UK investors beware of dual listed unless UK is lead market but OZ is lead market for this stock.Could fall to chart support level of about $1 in oz tomorrow but who knows for sure !

UK punters expecting RSG to fall about 5 cents in OZ on wednesday but I think they might have got it wrong as gold recovered before UK close !
