somwuwin .. you might want to put this in the thread header:

The main listing is Australia & Hot Copper forum is a bit like ADVFN .. that is the RSG thread.
You need a login to read all the posts but, it is free and easy to join and use.

There seem to be some good posters there who have done the maths (+ the inevitable stale bulls and general idiots).

Personally, I am struggling to see why this should not return to £1.50+ from here

Ravenswood is being sold for $207m to reduce debt, would leave circa $60m US
Resolute has been going through a bit of churn with new holders from the Toro acquisition, I'm sure with gold over $1600 that churn will end.

Leonard, that was to fund Toro gold.

Targets within the permit include the identification of potential ore shoots beneath the pit, extensions to the north east of the pit, and the Kerekonko area south of the Gambia River where multiple soil anomalies have been identified. Outside the Mako Gold Mine mining concession, Resolute controls over 485km2 of prospective exploration ground within a 30km radius, either directly or through joint ventures with Senegalese partners.

maybe lets just keep the thread quiet and enjoy the ride from here :-)
$1,600+, 19moz resources, strong cost-reduction initiatives in the pipeline, recently strengthened balance sheet form equity raise.
share price should really take care of itself in an upward trajectory from here onwards

As gold miners go this has been well overlooked. I noticed it many months ago and as with a few other stocks can't really find a reason for it being so cheap, hence after research can only conclude it's just not been noticed, another dusty teddy at the back of the shelf that just needs dusting down and presenting better.

I've been here since late last year. Things seem to be moving in the right direction with debt paid down etc and it looks great value compared to something like CEY.
Great to see some more familiar names :)

Yes certainly I see this as a good entry point (for you) and I have been accumulating at this level. Even more attractive given the rising price of gold over the last few months. As you say cashflows will be useful, especially now most of the Syama capital investment has been made.

Pleased to see a few existing investors raising their hands at the back of the quiet room :-) The business looks well set just now, particularly as you say after the recent sale of the aus mine and the equity raise to reduce debt.We should be seeing some strengthening cash flows off pog.Should be at/near the bottom of the price range & lift from here, imo.

Hi Matt - welcome. I've been invested here for maybe as long as AAZ but the introduction of the UK listing has led me to substantially increase my holding. Issuance for the placing and to buy Toro as well as fears about debt have held this back.

Yes Aus leads and UK follows. It certainly seems under the radar here but the management seem to want to try and get a premium rating like Randgold used to hold. If possible this will likely take some years.

The sale of the Australian mine has been helpful for cashflow/debt fears. News confirming the refinancing of debt will be very welcomed by the market. The hedging program seems to be feeding into these discussions.

Quiet is good, completely dead even better.

RSG not been my finest punt - seems the debt situation still shaking out, tho the forward sales are a reassurance. Feels like we need a period (12 months?) of sound production, no Africa issues etc.
