Can you chill with the price updates, I think most people have access to some firm of market data.. More interesting to see if it gets sold into.

The Minister Stientje van Veldhoven will answer to MPs question on the issue in mid-Feb but legislation could take the whole 2019 following many rounds of consultations.

She is very supportive of the market overall.

Link to the Minister's latest report. It's in Dutch so needs google translate. Last pages are the timetable that will take the whole year or so.

I think Renewi will provide further update 'before the end of March' on the interim solution (ie to sell all the soil sitting in the warehouses) and not the new legislation.

Further update 'before the end of March' they promised... Wasn't there talk on here of a mid Feb meeting in the Dutch parliament to discuss the soil situation?

It's going to take something dramatic to turn the tide, I believe an update is due on the soil before the end of the month, failing it that it will be the final results that shift it maybe.. As stated earlier it could go either way just because its cheap doesn't mean it can't get cheaper.. 50s to 20s and no bounce at all.

We can make confident statements about how sure we are that this is bottom or that it will get better, but they are just guesses.
If you look at the BBs of companies that have gone under , they are full of such postings. I have watched many of my holdings disappear under these circumstances and have learned not to take false comfort from increasingly loud reassurances.

In summary , the share price has crashed in response to a series of RNS that don't seem that bad , we don't know when and how much it will recover , we hope that it will recover but may be losing all our money. We look for signs in the trades and holdings that are portentous of a recovery , but so far they have all been false .

some indications that we are turning the corner. If we think there are persistant and sizeable institutional sellers then it begs the question of why they are selling at this level?
Could the reason be technical? ie Uk based institutions not wanting to or not being allowed to own a soon to be € quoted stock? Are we being presented with the opportunity to buy into shares cheaply as one set of investors abandon the stock to a market where the buy side based investors are not yet aware enough of the opportunity to pick up the slack?

Lowest volume for 8 days - Could the flow be drying up? Or is the the eye in the centre of the hurricane passing through?

Spread doesn't matter for this stock - whenever it pops 2-3% theres always a seller nimbling the share price down with these penny sales

I took it to mean that bram now holds 9 percent of the companies shares... That's a massive amount of shares and still the price goes down, although I appreciate that's a position that's been built up over time. Midas tip, brokers positive, company says all is on track,Ridiculous dividend and still it can't even hold a 1 percent rise on any given day .. I confess I am bemused by the whole thing and although I won't sell here its a pretty depressing situation.
