In fact the new guy looks better than both the old guys combined:

From 1990 until retirement in 2000, he was President and COO of CMS Energy, with $15 billion of assets. During that time, Mr. Fryling, was responsible for the Company's integration into oil and gas exploration, gas pipelines and LNG. During this period, operations expanded to 22 countries on 5 continents. The Company also owned and operated 15,000 Mws of power plants around the world.

Mr. Fryling joined CMS Energy in 1986 and was the lead developer in the conversion of an abandoned nuclear plant into a 1500Mw natural gas cogeneration facility that was the largest independe

That Corvin guy deserved to get sacked - he was the one who signed the agreement.

They could have released the departures at the interims but didn't. But my question is why it took over 2 months to sack the two gentleman, it was surely a no brainer.

It was coming, they were duped by safari. Now they have to move on. They have robust working capital and eventually should be enough to get out of this mess.

agreed with you on that statement, they will need a quick deal before they burn all their cash away,

What do you expect from the update?

i hear rpl have a meeting in london today.

neo123 - The process of identifiying targets could be done by a 5 year old and google. Assessing their stability takes longer, but there's not really an excuse for another vague RNS

i wouldn't expect rpl to have signed a new agreement for an alternative supply yet, but they have imho identified some targets. By december they will have something but not just yet.

Its been two and half months since we have heard anything. The trading update has depressed the share price to this level, what with now trading well below the NAV, the power plants ready to go this is a steal. Come back in a year this will be over a £1.

imho

RoL - I'm not saying he is legit, I know him as well as I know you and I would trust you ;-) However, if any agreement has to be rubber stamped by the govt agency before any commodity/money changes hands, surley thats a good thing.

At the end of the day, its not my job to find any source for rpl (and I was only interested), thats there job (maybe someone should let them know) so if its as easy as this guy makes out, why haven't rpl found a source yet (i guess its down to price) ?

Cambodia etc (and other less developed countries in the region) have large(ish) supplies of palm oil don't they, are there no supplies available there ? A number of countries in the region survive off their various palms but does anyone know what amounts are grown and how much is exported etc ?

I guess we just wait and see what supplies rpl have got and from where - would be funny if it was from the aztecs in malaysia though

pezza2, lol fees for govt rubber stamping before you can get it? doesnt sound too dissimilar to a palm oil version of nigerian 419 scam...

lol

ie Dear sir / madam, I am a nigerian General with big posts of cash / gold I cant get out of the country... will you pay me £10,000 today for £10 million Tuesday?

reminds me of Hamburger in Popeye...

I will pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today...

lol!

you should email rpl and explain the situation, explain you have a contact to get you to the malaysian authorities. Forward his email to carol johnson and she will pass it along.

That Malay guy has e.mailed me with details, maybe I could act as broker for RPL and make myself a fortune :-)

Seems I can get some without delay but by the looks of what he's saying it would have to be rubber stamped by the authorities at an extra cost and not direct to the growers. Thats if i understand it correctly but anyway, that would quarantee they are legit I guess.

The one thing on my mind is why he's so keen, I guess because he's thinking if he pulls off the deal he will get commission. He seemed keaner than me, I was just curious.

So, I'm thinking that RPL must have found a supply source if I can, so lets see what happens next week.

In this today- Monday could be sigificant. Their cash pile is reassuring, though depends how easy it is to get hold of palm oil at right price etc etc. If concretely on way to being sorted, could be massive share price jump though
