12/8/2007 12:56 | Dusseldorf These directors imho look a bit suspect, "one" might argue that they knew that the contract would not be sustained. They knew before the fundraiser. | maestro4
11/8/2007 15:35 | Neo123 - Spare a thought for whoever thought it was a good idea to invest £10m in equity at £1.10 one week before RPL were suspended and seemly lost the feedstock supply. £10m > £2.2m in less than 4 weeks, I'm sure thats a record from time of investment to fasted paper loss..... The best way to contact a company is to speak to their advisor/broker Libertas Capital Corporate Finance, they always have direct lines to all key players in the company. Tel: +44 20 7569 9650 Aamir Quraishi/Stephen Pickup | dusseldorf
11/8/2007 14:54 | Dusseldorf Can't get hold of the company, phoned the company its dead line, emailed nothing!! What fraudsters!! | neo123
11/8/2007 12:30 | looks like RPL was one of a few blues in a sea of red....dadair could be right about a bull trap, but would have thought on a day like today, MM's would have hammered this for all it worth. | dusseldorf
11/8/2007 12:27 | On RPL's FAQ page: Q Is the palm oil that you are using to produce biodiesel being grown in a sustainable way? A Yes, RPL holds a letter of sustainability indicating the palm oil is produced in an environmentally responsible way. ---------------- Oh, I believe them, they have a letter !!!! | pezza2
10/8/2007 12:20 | A good sign?..... Hmm, looks like a bull trap to me but WTFDIK. | dadair
10/8/2007 12:17 | Always a good sign when any share rises whilst the rest of the market is bleeding badly imo. | martin oneill
10/8/2007 12:13 | dadair - These guys are uncontactable. I will send you and Pezza the Court papers later. You can have a good laugh! However the risks at 25 pence as against when this was trading at £1 plus are obviously different - now a far lower risk - due to the £25 million in cash. I say sell the assets and return the cash to shareholders!!! | omellete
10/8/2007 11:55 | 24.8 was my last quote, which is under the mid price.. | dadair
10/8/2007 11:53 | can still buy away under the offer, not a good sign IMO. | dadair
10/8/2007 11:06 | 50,000 buy just reported. Things look like they could be about to start to hot up here ... | nilip
10/8/2007 11:03 | Although you and I can't see a reason to take legal action against Safari, there surely is one as RPL must have been advised by their legal team to do so. So, my question is who supplies the Palm Oil to Safari, as if they're under legal obligation to supply Safari with an unlimited amount of Palm Oil at a similar crazy price, perhaps, a deal can be struck directly with the grower and RPL ? I'm just trying to understand the benefit of the legal action. | pezza2
10/8/2007 10:53 | Pez, they look like a bunch of chancers, and i concur..... its a waste of time IMO to be chasing Safari through the courts. Its all about getting a supplier for the feedstock, at the right price. If that happens, we got a massive gap to fill. Good Luck All. | dadair
10/8/2007 10:44 | Looks like their other company, safariskin.com mentioned on the attached is no longer up and running. | pezza2
10/8/2007 10:41 | Hey guys, this is starting to look interesting, I'll spend the next few days taking a look at it and might have some questions. Firstly, why would RPL take legal action against safari, it looks like a tiny company with no benefit to RPL apart from more negative press (there must be a reason) ? Safari is a family business and seem to be in a few products, does anyone know where they get their Palm Oil from (maybe another family business or subsidary)? I may have missed it as I've only taken a quick look so far, but did Safari give a reason for refusing to meet the contractual obligations ? And lastly, looks like safari have removed the telephone number from their site. | pezza2 |
