16/4/2015 15:00 | LOL - Darias, In response to your question - no I pay no income tax or tax on any properties I may buy or sell but are forced to pay other taxes as you say when purchasing goods and services and duty on imports etc. but tax on earning or gains no. | clocktower
16/4/2015 14:40 | Philmac - your 814 number of shareholders, I suspect, does not include those holding via Nominee accounts, so the actual number of REF holders is probably a fair bit higher than that. ps - this BB has never been so active!! I see we have visitors from as far afield as The Philippines (a share holder in the Philippines?), New Zealand, USA and Norway to name but a few! pps Darias - is your last remark a recognised legal phrase? | philmiboots
16/4/2015 14:17 | phil. maybe they have seen the red light and just want out! :-) Darias, You poor fellow not paying your fair share of tax but will soon be drawing a state pension that is being paid by low paid zero hour contract works I assume, along with drawing on every other benefit you think you are entitled too. You can avoid pay tax at all regardless of your income by using a good accountant if you are not aware of how to do this yourself. | clocktower
16/4/2015 13:58 | philmeboots After the last sale yesterday via Share Facility reflec. We are now 814 individuals holding Ref share. So someone else has left the fold & some one else has accumulated. Also someone else has now listed shares for sale and undercut me!!!!!!!!!!!LOL | philmac56
16/4/2015 13:54 | Darius Agree | philmac56
16/4/2015 11:31 | Virtually nothing. When I was earning well I started a property company and that now keeps the wolf from the door. I have paid tax on money invested in that company and can now draw down the money put into it. I have a pension which is below the tax threshold. Next year, when I get the state pension, i will start to pay tax once more. Also my wife now earns more than me as a contracted out ofsted inspector but that looks likely to end soon as she does not have a degree. Most 60 year olds do not have a degree. | darias
16/4/2015 11:21 | My earnings are not sufficient to pay income tax! dividends though, another story :-) | upthepool
16/4/2015 11:03 | I am not a lawyer I am a surveyor/environment I believe that police officers earn more than I do. My earnings are not sufficient to pay income tax! | darias
16/4/2015 10:53 | Typical lawyer, thinking your worth more than £85 hour, mine charges £450 but I guess you pay for what you get. :-) | clocktower
16/4/2015 10:20 | For a de-listed company this thread is becoming as busy as bees. :-) Darias, You say you post for "therapeutic displacement activity" - is that because you invested when this stock was many times more value than it is today taking all matters into account? | clocktower
16/4/2015 09:21 | You too Darias - you seem to live here, responding to any post within seconds, LOL! I thought being on a "Magical Mystery Tour" was rather apt considering! | philmiboots
16/4/2015 09:17 | You should get out more. | darias
16/4/2015 09:04 | I hadn't realised that we have been on a Magical Mystery Tour for some years!!... ..er....groovy baby.....(see from 2mins 55secs)..... | philmiboots

15/4/2015 10:30 | It is my understanding that the light ring is not the patent. This is blue screen technology that has been around for years. It is chromatte cloth that is patented. This is the reflective screen. LEDchromaKEY talk about light ring. Feonic suggest that manufacture of the back cloth is done elsewhere. I suggest that this is reflec but could be wrong. If is not reflec there may be a breach of patent with Feonic but the cloth has to be looked at first to establish its composition. | darias
15/4/2015 10:20 | Darius, old chap (!), have you actually watched those two videos? The second one talks about the backdrop being made of "retroreflective material" by "one of the world's leading experts in reflective technology". I venture to suggest that the technologies being shown here are all exactly the same. | philmiboots
15/4/2015 10:07 | Hi Phil The two products which were being compared to Chromatte are clearly not the same. Chromatte is a cloth which has glass beads integrated within its fabric. We were told at an AGM many years ago that the cloth can be washed and used again and again. Scotchlite, an adhesive tape, clearly does not have that ability. The volvo stuff actually washes off/ wears out after a week or so. These are not comparable to Chromatte. My fear is that from results Reflec do not appear to be spending on R and D to protect those patents and improve them. I fear that when the patents run out other manufacturers will take the product and have the capacity to market it better. Look what happened to NXT speakers. You can now buy their technology for pennies on the internet and it has been demonstrated to me. hxxp://www.ssidispla hxxp://www.feonic.co | darias
15/4/2015 09:53 | ...er...hang on chaps.... Darius mentioned patents a while ago, how do these outfits get away with what appears to be ripping off Reflecmedia's Chromatte system? They don't go into too much detail on the backdrop but are they sourcing them from Reflecmedia? Plus - what about the LiteRings? | philmiboots |
