there are a couple of points that get lost...

1. The Jabil tie-up, which is a long term collaboration, is an interesting one in that it provides third party validation of the technology. It also reveals the ambition of both sides as the US firm will be looking to mass produce units for sale around the world

2. REDT claim they can manufacture cheaper than their competitors...

I remember a company that served me well back in the late ninties, that company was Pace Micro Technology, the same was being said about them before the Sp shot to just over £13 from the low of 20p.......there were doubts as to wheather the company would make it...there was lack of news, they were taking on staff, then boom...we wait and see if that is the case here !!!!!

One thing for sure, I am happy to hold and take that chance, but nothing is 100% certain except death!!!

There are millions of lithium incidents, I could post all day, the Australian government is well advised to have regulation, those country,s that dont are only fools.....

Can you imagine a building full of lithium batttery,s in the centre of a city like New York..... they take days to put out a fire in them once thermal runway takes place..... there is a report that the amount of water it would take to put out a fire in a lithium battery instalation would cause the building containing the battery to colapse....

A Tesla Model S caught fire after the vehicle hit debris on a highway in Kent, Washington, on October 1, 2013.[3] According to the driver, he hit something while traveling in the HOV lane of Washington State Route 167.

The carmaker confirmed the fire began in the battery pack and it was caused by an impact to one of the battery pack modules by a large piece of metal.

They need to take more care where mthey place lithium battery,s, there will be severe regulation for lithium battery,s..

In the Boeing 787 Dreamliner's first year of service, at least four aircraft suffered from electrical system problems stemming from its lithium-ion batteries, resulting in the whole Dreamliner fleet being voluntarily grounded in January 2013

dig3:> Most intereting. You have been working hard - RED should put you on the payroll.

Certainly in the right place at the right time but jury is still out on whether management can generate profitable sales. (imo)

“I’D PUT MY MONEY ON THE SUN AND SOLAR ENERGY.
What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that. “

.Law360, New York (October 24, 2012, 4:15 PM EDT) -- Storage has become a premier cleantech investment opportunity. Ernst & Young reported that energy storage totaled more than a third of the $1.1-billion U.S. venture capital investment in cleantech for the third quarter of 2011, which was the highest of any single sector that quarter.[1]
In 2009, investment bank Piper Jaffray projected that the energy storage market would be at least $600 billion over the next 10 to 12 years.[2] In the United States alone, the U.S. Department of Energy has projected that over the next five to 10 years, between 10 and 100 gigawatts of energy storage will need to be installed, creating a $35-billion industry.[3]

Currently, the supply for VFBs is merely a by-product due to its low demand. A great opportunity exists for vanadium producers who can provide the necessary high purity battery-grade vanadium required by the VFBs.

Energizer Resources (TSX:EGZ) is uniquely positioning itself to meet the new anticipated demand for high purity, battery-grade vanadium, as well as the anticipated 7% annual growth in demand for vanadium expected from the steel industry. Energizer Resources’ sedimentary-hosted deposit, one of the largest and purest in the world, is targeted to produce 890 million pounds of battery-grade V2O5 for these technologies in order to deliver the sureness of supply and price that is being demanded by these markets.
